Something like $5M went for a volleyball court at Southern Miss. Since when is volleyball useful or beneficial?

That's pretty typical coming from your point of view isn't it, crime is ok if a rich guy does it.

Ironic, really. Green Bay's previous dynasties (1920s-1930s and Lombardi) were stacked with weapons but the franchise seemingly forgot that lesson.
The year Moss was traded to the Patriots, the Packers could have had him for a 4th round pick. Raiders preferred to get him out of the AFC and would have made the deal, and Ted Thompson wouldn't do it.

Favre/Rodgers could have won at least 4-5 Super Bowls total if not for total mismanagement for 30 years. Packers have been pulling the wool over their fans eyes for years while they buy up everything around Lambeau and create their own little Vatican City and are just raking in sick amounts of cash. It's been sad to watch.

Yeah. People always say why didn't he run on that play? I honestly don't know if he could. He could roll out but sprint for yardage? His ankle was ravaged that night.

I decided to look up the play by play. And now all the bad memories returned. Thanks, Wisconsin Chief!

The 12 men in the huddle penalty before the INT is overlooked too. That forced a passing situation as the ball went from the 33 to the 38. Longwell's long that year was 52 yards.

Minnesota also went into a shell too quickly. They got to the 33 with 1:06 left and didn't snap it again until 25 seconds left. Taylor and Peterson ran for no gain. Then the idiot penalty forcing 3rd and 15 from the 38. Longwell isn't hitting that field goal attempt unless they get closer. His career long was 55 yards set in 2007. Of course, you would rather have the opportunity than not.

Then overtime hits and the refs carry NO down the field.

Green Bay became a slave to their built through the draft success.

Thompson didn't want Moss because he and Favre were in a power play. Moss would have given Favre leverage.

I never understood the thought process about forcing your quarterback "elevate" every weapon. I am not suggesting to overspend but find and locate good options especially when you have an elite QB. Maximize your talent.

The $5M was just for a volleyball court.

The total was something like SEVENTY five million.

Beats the money being wasted on Pepsi and snack cakes.

Interesting stretch.

I don't believe in welfare. It is not American to pay people to live off the government. That is all I have to say. If I lived in Mississippi, I would be happy knowing a beautiful volleyball court was built over some 300-pound whale buying more processed garbage.

I don't give a rats ass what you believe in, you think a dude stealing millions of dollars is ok but a shoplifter is horrid.

That is hypocritical to a level of ridiculousness. That's like saying you know the drunk driver that hit a parked car, send that **** to prison, the one that slammed into 22 cars and killed a couple people, he cool.

Just be honest you hate poor people.

Favre was Robin Hood. He liberated money from excessive and unfair taxation.

The money belonged to the Mississippi taxpayers.

Seems odd that defrauding taxpayers is okay in some cases but not in others.
