The trade deadline has passed. Veach did not make his move

Or does he do the unthinkable and stand pat? (the only way this should acceptably happen is if there is absolutely no secondary help available)

He's gotta do something, right? There's no way he can think this D is good enough to win it all. And if he uses the, we'll take our chances this year because we didn't even expect to be this good and try to build in the draft-mentality, then **** him.

Why are Kansas City sports franchises so hesitant to go all in? We're more likely to go the Green Bay approach of going slow and steady and being methodical as opposed to the LA approach of going all in with a stud quarterback.

Why would you give a high pick when you could possibly get Eric Berry back sometime soon, who himself has a big contract.

And then Earl Thomas will be a FA this offseason, granted he might prefer the Cowboys but you never know.
Eric Berry isn't walking through that door.

Like the tweet a few posts before said, it isn’t ****ing Madden you butt****ing moron.

They were prepared to trade for Thomas. Just because they don’t make a move doesn’t mean they weren’t open to it.

They spent big bucks in free agency despite not having a ton of cap space. The Packers would never have made those moves. What more do you ****ing want?

Sounds like many teams are waiting this thing out to see if sellers flinch.

We may not hear anything at all, but we may see a lot of action right before 3PM.

Maybe he's trying to quash perception that he's a KC homer?

Do people think we can just call the Giants up, exchange pleasantries, and walk away with Collins?

And like my reply to that tweet, following a certain path because it's conventional wisdom is ****ing ignorant as ****. The Rams built their team in the offseason like they were playing Madden and it will probably send them to the super bowl. Conventional wisdom would have said trading for everyone they did and signing numerous free agents is not the way to build a championship. The Rams took that conventional wisdom and shoved it up the rest of the NFL's collective asses.

I'd also like to point out that Terez said "I just don't see it happening" to the Earl Thomas rumors 2 days before it was reported that we had a deal in place before the injury.

The guy is very well-connected. But I can almost guarantee he's not the one that will drop news of a trade if and when it happens – and there's a reason for that.
