The game day thread needs to remember a few things

Mahomes wins 58% of the games where the chiefs have a greater than 10 point deficit
Mahomes is 6-2 in games where the chiefs are the underdogs (so this stat is also against teams which are as good as or better than the chiefs during Mahomes tenure)
The 0:13 drive
Buffalo has been looking ahead to this game but so have the chiefs
There's a really good chance the chiefs start their first drive down 7, there's no reason to think this is a reason to panic

Bills defense is good but so was the buccaneers and mahomes still put up 41 on them

Everyone keeps saying von Miller is the secret weapon against KC but he's 0-9 against the chiefs since 2015

Yeah, it's going to be a rough day in the GDT.... and not because I think the Chiefs will lose, but because I assume the game will be back and forth and it'll be 3 hours of full ****ing freakout instead of people sitting back and hopefully witnessing and appreciating a great game against two heavyweights.

I don't worry about Mahomes facing a tough defense at this point. He's beaten every tough defense he's ever faced. I worry about our own defense. 2018 was ruined by it in a way. Every week the win is all on him and that needs to stop.

The higher ranked the defense the better he plays it seems like. Unless it's the Chargers. Those guys just know how to play the Chiefs.

Do they actually think that the opponent won’t be ready for a player suiting up just because they said he wasn’t playing or won’t confirm they’re playing?

I’ve always wondered that.
