The games are not fun outside of drinking during parties.. But I would rather play flip cup, washers or beer pong then drinking during wii.. |

Add me to the list. I've had my PS3 for awhile but have refrained from really playing much online. I used too, but lost interest somewhere along the way. Socom rocked online and that's coming out here in the next couple of months, plus I used to love playing Madden online when I could find a straight game.
My PSN name is Chiefman420. |

I spent a few hours playing SOCOM. All I did was get on foreign servers team-killing people. That alone makes the game worth buying IMO.

I have a PS3 on order to mostly use for blu ray but want to try it out for gaming. Are there any sub $25 used games for it that are worth a look?
I was planning to pick up the Force Unpleased but the reviews are somewhat underwhelming for a $60 game. |

Resistance Uncharted MGS4 Ratchet and Clank ToD Warhawk All must owns. And for the record, I purchased my PS3 primarily for Blu Ray as well. You can see how that turned out. heh

Does anyone use folding at home? Did anyone manage to get the Life with Playstation update last night?

I have never pre ordered a game. I like to wait for all the personal reviews to come in before I buy anyway. Gears is about the only upcoming game I would buy without waiting for reviews.

You don't have to buy it to pre-order it. Just put $5 down and they hold a copy for you. If you don't want it, you can easily get your $5 back. You usually always get a "perk" for pre-ordering too.

I know. I have yet to see a perk that would make me want to pre order though. I haven't seen a game yet that I couldn't pick up at walmart a week later though. The only game I ever purchased on release day was Halo 3.
