Hell if I know. The (insert banned word here) comments are only a part of the behavior that consistency should require also be looked at.

I think the typical answer is ad revenue or google enforcement for search results. I have have no illusions CP is caring about that or threatened by any of that. Nor do I really care. Just more an observation by what large named sites have stated for their reasons for why the have increased moderation.

CP is what it is. I accept it while I wallow in it.

What's the post count difference between 16 and the top 3?

That is what I was referring too.

Not sure how comparing yourself to Donger, BEP, and patteeu is all that meaningful, but sure, they're all in the 90k+ range. There's a huge drop after those three, though.

That said, it is pretty impressive that BEP alone is responsible for 1 in 20 posts in the entire history of DC. What a sad life.

Bep should get paid for keeping dc moving and thus generating clicks. Top 5 then if you wish?

Anyway to get daily, weekly, or yearly numbers?

I'm not surprised I'm high in the list because I am one of the few left wing posters who sticks around for a long time.

But I'd also wager there are some right wing accounts who post loads more on average than I do, yet flame out very quickly.

What you did was lie about who you were referring to:

You denied and defaulted to name calling. And then kept on denying it and kept on name calling for a while. Now you're finally admitting that you were wrong. Good for you. Baby steps. As I've already stated, JPB and TJ don't engage in the behavior that I mentioned. I've already mentioned what Cosmo does and he implied that he agreed with me with his response. They, on the other hand, will stick around and hash it out with people who disagree with them. To a fault, even. I know this because I've disagreed with both of them on more than one occasion. This is relevant because you decided to butt in and pretend that all of them post in a similar manner, which isn't true. So let that sink in - if you are capable of introspection. In this very thread you have been dishonest and uncivil with me without provocation. You have demonstrated exactly why people tend not to engage with you, why you end up on ignore lists, why you might think that people aren't engaging with you as a part of their posting style rather than as a simple byproduct of the ignore feature. The problem isn't the forum. The problem is you.

Yeah, there are only ~60 people in the entire history of the board with more than 50k posts, and it took almost all of them close to two decades to accomplish that... only one of them registered after 2010 (and another in 2009).

If you had shown up in 2000, you would pretty easily be in the top 20 all time around 60k posts.

IIRC, D.C is kind of AC's baby. D.C was never going to be deleted, pretty sure the mods knew that going into this.
