As I've already stated, JPB and TJ don't engage in the behavior that I mentioned. I've already mentioned what Cosmo does and he implied that he agreed with me with his response. They, on the other hand, will stick around and hash it out with people who disagree with them. To a fault, even. I know this because I've disagreed with both of them on more than one occasion. This is relevant because you decided to butt in and pretend that all of them post in a similar manner, which isn't true. So let that sink in - if you are capable of introspection. In this very thread you have been dishonest and uncivil with me without provocation. You have demonstrated exactly why people tend not to engage with you, why you end up on ignore lists, why you might think that people aren't engaging with you as a part of their posting style rather than as a simple byproduct of the ignore feature. The problem isn't the forum. The problem is you.
Not many people outright deny JPB openly brags about ignoring and not caring to respond to a whole host of people he doesnt like, yet you choose to be one of them. I mean. He himself spans it in threads.

Its completely dishonest statment from you and is exactly what I'm talking about overall.

You want to lash out at certain posters yet cannot be honest enough to be consistent. Amd that is all I asked. For you to be consistent. And now you are throwing an even bigger temper tantrum because I correctly showed how you cannot follow a conversation and have to dishonestly ignore entire parts of posts, again.

You are just a big problem right now as anyone else. I've asked you to just stop. You cannot.

Once again, using the ignore feature to avoid engaging with troublesome posters isn't anything similar to what Cosmos does, as I have already explained. Once again, you have been dishonest and uncivil in this very thread without provocation. Pointing that out isn't a tantrum no matter how upset it makes you to be caught either lying or unable to maintain a coherent discussion. Once again, the problem is you.

Well, we didn't have anything to do with the vote to delete it (besides ALLEGEDLY some tampering).... DC was discussed a bit in the Gripe thread as far as someone wanting changes, which spawned a troll thread in DC and then this poll.

I do/did think it would be interesting to get a vote on the desire to fix the worst issues from the non-shitposting DC community, but not sure there's really any interest in even improving anything in there.

I just don't think you mods should have to go through all the work it would take, especially when it most likely be futile

The only dishonesty is your hypocrisy based on pure politics. ( your excuse for jpb is lame) Keep throwing an unaware temper tantrum all because you couldnt follow a conversation.

Right now you have a you issue. You just want me to fix it for you.

Honestly....this thread is a prime example of why we need DC.

Does anyone really wants hundreds of these threads clogging up the main page of CP when we should be talking about how ****ing great Patrick Mahomes is?

You can just ban political discussion altogether and ban the people who break the rules by posting such topics and delete them. Most forums operate this way.

We have heard all of the detriments the political forum brings to the board and to the moderation team. What are the benefits to hosting it?

Once again, letting certain posters have their play area mostly unmoderated is the easiest on the mods.

As posted below, I don't see the need or the want of putting the extra work on the mods.

It gives me a place to be entertained, troll, and get a perspective on current events that is different from what the mainstream news tells me.

It sounds like the political forum is currently the source of most of their moderation problems, so that doesn't really wash
