Our margin for error in getting the 1 seed is pretty much gone now, so that sucks. That’s the worst part of the GB loss.

Beat Buffalo and 13-4 is very attainable. 13-4 probably gets the 1 seed for the Chiefs.

If they beat Buffalo they’ll almost certainly get the #1 seed. If they don’t, they won’t. Not getting a bye will make the road a bit tougher but it’s nothing they can’t handle.

We could make the Super Bowl from the 2 or 3, but that’s just a tough path.

The risk of injury along in an extra game makes it tough. Possible, but tough.

A tougher road is just likely gonna be the cost of losing 2 entire games because our receivers couldn’t catch.

Still can beat the Bills to do it though. I’m just less than optimistic about beating what is likely to be a very desperate team who should/will effectively be treating it like a playoff game themselves.

I hate that we’re getting the Bills off a bye. Especially with several players getting dinged up tonight.

Hopefully our players also see this as a playoff game, because it might as well be. Win against Buffalo and we likely need to win one fewer game in January.

We win all the tiebreakers and the other teams have a lot of tough games ahead.

If we win out, which is extremely possible, we get the #1 seed most of the time.

If we lose one game we still have a decent chance. If we lose more than 1 game then it's very unlikely.

Exactly.

It’s kind of dumb to play too close of attention to the standings. Chiefs just need to get to 13-4. It’s been obvious for weeks.

Buffalo is a playoff game.

I think the Bills remain easily the Chiefs' top competition in January as well, even though their record doesn't reflect that right now. A win would be significant in more ways than one.

The Ravens and Dolphins will drop some games but the Jaguars are the real problem. Need them to lose one or two somewhere in an upset (perhaps starting tomorrow).
