Yeah, and what's the ROI on it, really... it's not like you'll ever have a politics forum without the same old black and white arguments and people blaming or defending the president for everything based on who they voted for...... just like we'll always have people who call "game over" when it's 7-0 in the first quarter or people who freak out because the Chiefs aren't undefeated in September. Not that cleaning up the worst of the worst is completely pointless, but still.

I threw around the idea of a [serious] tag a couple times in this thread... outside of the major pain to moderate, I think it would be a nice feature in terms of having "no shitpost" threads, whether it was the Lounge or DC. It would keep people happy who don't want to sift through the garbage while not turning the entire board into the KC Star board.

Not sure what you mean?

The RR is for the shittiest of shitposts, but there's still plenty of it in the Lounge. The tag would basically be to stay on topic, no personal attacks, no random billay gayness, no opinion spamming and telling us for the millionth time how you think the Chiefs need to run the ball more in a thread about Mahomes.

It would theoretically remove the "have to sift through a bunch of garbage for content" in say draft threads, threads that are more so about analyzing than reactionary, etc.

And it would of course be far more difficult in DC, but basically "if you can't stay on topic and be decent to others, stay out".

I do think the Lounge is pretty decent about staying serious in serious threads, but I think it would add some value in threads that get hijacked, plus all the other randomness that people could simply skip for that thread.

Or it would just be a huge pain for mods for something that sounds better in my head than reality.

I wallow in the mud at dc because it is there to wallow in.

That I've lasted 10 years should be some sign I don't transport the mud outside there. Nor would I, personally just to say, ever do it if the mud disappeared.

You are correct for the most part since all but like 400 of your posts are in DC, of which 43 are in this thread. I'd venture a guess to say in the 10 years you've been here, you have less than 10 football related posts in any forum.

I don't go into the Romper Room tho.

Every now and then someone will interrupt my very sage posts in DC to remind me that I smoke pot and that they know some curse words.

But I'd rather skim the shit while looking for kernels of discourse rather than wallow in it.

We share naked pics and dirty secrets with each other, in the Romper Room.

You definitely strike me as a female that would be into the darker side of the Romper Room

What is the upshot to smoking pot these days? Better high?

Because I still find that experience generally unpleasant (smoking it, that is).

Just seems like there are a slew of available edible options and entire cookbooks dedicated to them at this point. You don't smell like pot then, you don't have to hack that shit down.

Just...what's the point in smoking it anymore?

Everyone is different.

I personally smoke very little flower anymore. It has to be some phenomenal stuff. I don't consume edibles because it makes me motion sick. Otherwise it's a 2 second hit of a concentrate and there is no lingering smell.

You guys have no ****ing idea how many people are high around you.

All day long.

I used to dabble here and there, but it's great for when you get older. Use gummies and know the number that hits you best. Way better on your stomach than an IPA and way better on hangovers. I like it most for a nightcap instead of drinking that last beer you regret the next morning.
