According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

There will be some sort of punishment and it will be appealed. This whole thing will revolve around an arbitrator. The NFL would be happy with this because they do not want to be caught between the owner or the fans. The blame can squarely rest on a patsy. No pun intended.

Old news. It came out yesterday that the Colts had tipped off the league about this during the regular season and the Ravens did the same after the divisional game, so the league was going to investigate all along.
