Shawnee Mission West Teacher accused of "Inappropriate relations" with student

[SLAG]

Overland Park Police and the Shawnee Mission School District are investigating an allegation of inappropriate relations between a teacher and a student.

The district said the alleged misconduct at Shawnee Mission West High School was brought to the attention of school officials today.

The teacher, who was not identified, has been placed on administrative leave.



The Teacher was sexting the students - the images got passed around and ended up on the wonderful internet....

I totally agree, some people just don't get that, they must spend too much time watching "My Hot Teacher" Pron. If its the other way around people want to tie him to the pole in the middle of the square and stone him to death. Its a huge double standard.

I understand the frustration, but I don't think the solution is to throw a young woman in jail for having sex with a young man who could easily pick her up and break her in two if he chose to do so.

I agree that we don't want hot female teachers seducing students. I just think the appropriate punishment is to fire and publicly disgrace the hot female teacher, which is what has happened here.

Wait....so a male teacher can sexually molest a female student, but a female teacher can't sexually molest a male student because he's a 240 lb. high school football player.

So the female student would be an unwilling participant, but the male student would have to be willing. Is that what you are getting at?

I think it is, it seems to be happening more and more, and far too often, maybe if it happened once in a while but lessons need to be learned.

He was 17, older than 16, so he was able to give consent. This isn't a statutory rape case.

Yes.

There is no way this 110 lb. female could sexually molest a 240 lb. high school football player. Sexual molestation implies a lack of consent.
