Can someone please explain this nonsense?!? from r/amcstock




HF are using algo's to sell at $14 and buy the same amount of stock, if not more, at lower prices and are just rinse and repeating constantly. Which is why we can’t break past $14.

In other words it is just straight up market manipulation.

My apologies for the auto-run. I don't know how to turn that off and it's annoying.

The SEC just turns a blind eye to it. There will never be a level playing field until Congress steps in. So there will never be a level playing field.

A lot of people, likely in the hundreds so far have submitted complaints to the SEC about the obvious AMC stock manipulation today. I'm sure in the end they will side with the billionaire hedge funds but this should at least force them to look into it.

If they keep putting unlimited amounts of stock for sale @$14, it's gonna be hard to break through.

They offer 50 million shares at $14 and offer to buy at $13.97, they can control price for a short term.

One thing I know for sure. If congress steps in it won’t be to help Robinhood investors. Somehow the narrative remains that Reddit is wrecking the market. As absurd as that narrative is.
