Let's talk about the Steelers

And how we are going to destroy them.

Also he has two rings. His last game isn’t anymore historic than Eli Manning’s final game
How refs call the game can matter but the smart teams adjust quickly to how a particular game is being called. In the early 2000's, Patriots played Colts receivers very physical at line of scrimmage. Patriots were doing what plenty of other teams did in the past but Colts GM was probably correct that it was against a modern interpretation of the rules. From what I read that gm complained and NFL changed things up and New England's secondary had to adjust.

Big Ben's last game will be nationally televised playoff game against a team that has made back to back SB's winning one of them and has a QB expected to make the HOF. That is historic even if it isn't a "passing of the torch".

I don't remember who Eli ended his career against but looking it up it was against Miami late in the season and Eli's only win of a year in which he went 1-3.

Not to start a fight here but I see the Chiefs secondary as a secondary that does try to get away with a lot. At times that playing style is clearly to the Chiefs benefit but at other times it backfires.

In the NFC championship game from what I can remember, the refs just let them play. Tampa Bay had 2 penalties for 8 yards and Packers 4 penalties for 30 yards. Packers were not exactly covering the Bucs receivers that game with finesse. They were at least as rough as Tampa's secondary/linebackers. Both teams were aggressive but didn't really cross the line with something that had to be called that often until a Packers defender grabbed and pulled at Tyler Johnson's jersey and didn't let go of it.

A small jab but I am just stating what more than a few Chiefs fans on this forum have admitted. Chiefs have a physical secondary under Spags that tries to get away with a lot. Chiefs could have tried to go in a different direction of less physicality but more cover skills.

I will admit my favorite team(Patriots) for a few years tried somewhat similar tactics. The Patriots secondary in the past had their own overly physical style that sometimes crossed the line of legality. Patriots kind of did it differently than the Chiefs of the past few years. Most of their overly physical play that players like Ty Law sometimes got away with were at the line of scrimmage.

With the Chiefs it is often deeper down the field and in the pass plays from what I see. Chiefs strategy is smart if you can get away but at a certain point it can obviously backfire.

Let's hope our beloved Chiefs are not looking past the Steelers. If there is any thing I worry about with our beloved Chiefs is that they at times get bored(Team ADD?) and decide not to show up, like the 2nd half of the Bengals game. They went home way too early and didn't take care of business and thus paid the price in doing so.

We don't look past anyone in the postseason.

You need Tom Brady on your team to beat Mahomes in the postseason.

We are going all the ****ing way.

And there is the million dollar question; will the officials let the players play or will they be "ticky tack"?

Just shut up.

And I say that nicely because I’m a big Steve Grogan guy. Watched him play for Kansas State with about 26 other fans in the stands.

But seriously, shut up.

I liked McNair but he wasn’t close to a good QB , he wasn’t going to beat anyone with just his arm. And if your trying to imply PM ain’t elite why your just full of shit as a Christmas goose
