The strip club thread got me pissed off about idiotic-waste of time legislation, and it appeared that most of the posters in that thread were in agreement for once, and somehow that led to me wondering what the demographics of the planet are.

Don't know if this has been done, but I don't think so. I'm curious to find the average Chief's Planeteer. I'm far too lazy to come up with the required survey(s), but I know we have a few resident experts that might also be interested?(Rain Man) I'd suggest a blind poll.

Age: 34.2
84% of planeteers are male
88% Caucasian
72% Protestant Christian
Average number of children per planeteer: 1.2
Average Household Income: $385k (Dane skews this one)
Average Median Household Income $62.4k
89% Chief's Fans
77% Cardinal's Fans
52% KU Fans (Must pick one school for all sports (COMOCHIEF!))
80% of planeteers are bald with a goatee
42% of planeteers are from Missouri
40% of planeteers currently reside in Missouri
82% of planeteers have been to a strip club
0.026% of planeteers have been to a gay bar (Buck?)

Now that there is a poll, please don't be offended if you can't find a particular category that fits and have to select other or N/A etc.

There is no way in hell I can put all religions, races, states, teams, etc on any poll. Let alone a VBulletin poll.

Sorry. I filled up my 50 available options pretty fast.

I could have cut some from the income bracket, age, etc. It's very hard to conduct a poll on here that is very reliable.

eh, its fine. Instead of "I was born in a state other than Missouri or Kansas", it could have been "I was not born in Kansas or Missouri", but I might be the only oddball here. I've been outside the country the first year or so of my time on earth, but obviously dont remember it.

Out of 25 respondents so far, all 25 were fine with putting there age. So far though, 4 have not posted their gender.

Is there really an "Other" for that category?

True, but I think for the census I would have liked to know the number of foreign planeteers. Being born outside the U.S. and Currently reside outside the U.S. would have been nice options.

hah, I'm not really foreign. parents were american, though there'd be an interesting lawsuit on the meaning of "natural born citizen" if I was ever nominated for president.

I was an army brat born in Germany, moved to Georgia when I was three. You're not the only odd ball.

I served 2 years in Japan while in the Air Force, I didn't mean to imply I thought you were foreign. I just meant that I agree there needs to be more options on the poll, unfortunately I only had 50 and I didn't use them as wisely as I should have.

If your parents are American and you were born at a US Military base, you are a citizen. Foreign military post are considered US soil.

well, yes but it is not certain whether you are a "natural born citizen" as required by the constitution to serve as president. John McCain had the same problem, but he lost the election.

The courts will probably ok it if an army brat ever wins.

edit: actually I dont think this quote is true. If a german baby is born at the US base, they are not a citizen like they would be if born in, say Wyoming.
