I don’t think it’s that crazy of a scenario but just envisioning Ryan Tannehill and the 9-7 Tennessee Titans in the AFCCG is really, really weird. Doesn’t feel like it should be possible.
That said, I do think they win Saturday and then who knows with Baltimore. |

Problem Tennessee would have is that their defense isn’t really that good. They may be able to outscore the Pats cause their offense sucks but against a good offense? Eh

They’re only shot is to control games through Henry and really limit possessions. Then get turnovers on D.

I actually think Belichick will 100% shut down that offense.
They have one receiver and Henry isn't the kind of back a Belichick defense will struggle with. They won't let him run north/south.

Um, in last year's tilt, the Pats allowed Henry to run for a 5.3 yards/carry average and 2 TDs. TEN ran for a total of 150 yards on 36 carries for a 4.2 yards/carry average.

This is the No. 1 defense. I'm pretty sure they can handle a TEN offense that has a dearth of playmakers and allowed 56 sacks.

This version of the Pats' D isn't particularly good against the run either.

They just completely shut down Buffalo's running game two weeks ago.

I 100 % believe that Vrabel knows exactly how beat Bill. They will shut the Pats offense down.

Next week will be a perfect time for Clay to reprise his old Brady video.

My postseason predictions:
-Coach/QB combos win -None of the Wildcards have a chance in hell of making the Super Bowl -I’ll only believe in a 3/4 seed if there is some sort of odd circumstance that resulted in them not being the 1/2 (someone else had an easier schedule, odd tie breakers, etc); Saints would probably fit that bill for me -Patriots beat Titans -Texans beat Bills -Saints beat Vikings -Seahawks beat Eagles Super Bowl: Chiefs vs Packers

So I really don't understand the Titans prop up on here. They are not that good of a football team. They lost their last two at home and they struggled to put the Texans BACKUPS away for a must win game.
I think a lot of that comes from them beating us but there was so much flukage in that game, it's not even close we play them again. Pats will win and handily. We will get the cheaters in the divisional. I think we win and it's closer than it should be but we get a W this go around. I would rather not play them as I agree with some other posters of just being sick of the pats. They also cheat so you never know. Thank God it will be at home. If I had it my way I'd say play the bills they don't scare me at all. Their QB sucks dick and they played no one this year. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk |

Their OL is one of the worst in the NFL. Their running game is one of the worst in the NFL. Their passing attack is . . . you know what I'm going to say here. Their defense is average against the run. Their offense presently consists of Edelman. Oh, and he's dinged up. Gilmore is dinged. One of the McCourty boys is dinged. Oh, and before I forget! THEY LOST TO THE MIAMI DOLPHINS, JUGGERNAUTS THAT THEY ARE. Say what you want about TEN, but it's a fact that they're better than the Dolphins. NE couldn't cover D. Parker and Gesicki. And make no mistake, I love Fitzmagik right now, but is he really that much better than Tannehill? I think not. So, just how do you think that NE will be able to stop TEN? Because I'm just not seeing it. |
