I’d bring Allen in to start this week. Prep Wisniewski to potentially take the job eventually.

Wesnieski is a vet. He’s started a ton of games and in several systems...including one very similar to the Chiefs with Pederson in Philly. He won’t need more than a week or two to get up to speed so long as he’s kept himself in good shape.

Ryan Hunter was dressed because he was the player they though the most of out of the group. That should tell you about the quality of those others you listed. Cutting Hunter was as much a message to the others as anything else.

This is a really good move for us. No matter what.
But a few things that just strike me as insane.... Forget about keeping DAT over Jeff Allen. If Ryan hunter was this bad, how did we think he was better than Allen. If hunter was this bad, that means allegretti is even worse. If hunter and allegretti are this bad, why wouldn't you bring wisnewski in as insurance especially since Wylie isn't exactly a world beater. If we want wisnewski over Allen now, why didn't we decide that a few weeks ago before we re-signed Allen then promptly cut him. None of this makes any kind of sense. |

Wiz was always a pretty decent pass blocker, and a below average run blocker. I didn't see any talk about his run block grades, so I'm going to guess that he's still a below average run blocker.
