No it didn't. You said Mizzou was mediocre (which by itself is a silly statement since we're currently a top 12 team nationally), and I said you'll see how mediocre we are tomorrow.

It certainly isn't special to beat any 6-6 team, it's expected.

And another year is done. Good way to end an up and down (mostly down) career, Casey. Happy for you, but next year we have a real QB.

This game probably drove both of us crazy, but the Big Red made some plays in the end. I'm a little worried about the potential bowl opponent, but the defense and special teams can only get better. Same thing for the coaches.

Seriously, you look silly fighting this battle. The best strategy is just to go back to acting like basketball is awesome and you don't care about football.

I don't have a dog in the MU-KU battle, but Mizzou needs to cover Desmon Briscoe. I saw him up close against Nebraska and he was unstoppable.

Our ****ing defense better wake up. I really felt that they were going to be a strength going into this year, after they came on towards the end of last year. Every team we have played has made plays on us through the air, down the field. Reesing has a gun for a hobbit and can chuck it half way down the field, if he has the time.

This is going to be a close game.

Dude, we're 2nd in scoring defense and 4th in total defense/yards allowed. No, we're not the 85 Bears, but too many Mizzou fans are discarding the fact that the offenses in this conference have simply gone ballistic this year.

I saw on the Nebraska game today that the Huskers have the 6th best offense in the conference, which sounds pretty blah. But when you look at the overall D1 rankings, they come in at 9th in the country - 6 of the top 9 offenses in the country are in the Big 12. That's incredible.

Yeah, good point, but when teams like Buffalo and Baylor are burning the secondary, it makes me worried against a proven offense like Kansas. I'm glad Sharp and Meier are out.

And that's a remarkable stat about the Big XII offenses being ranked nationally. I hadn't seen that.

MU's defense isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be....

WTF?

Baylor's Robert Griffin is a pretty damn good QB. The Bears have scored points on most of their opponents this year.

Buffalo are the MAC East Champs. No respect for Turner Gill?

Colorado, K-State, Nebraska & Iowa State probably think Mizzou's defense isn't half bad...are they great? No. Are they good enough to beat 99% of most college football teams? Yes.

Just enjoy tomorrow's game vs KU....it will be fun!
