Life What's on your "Bucket List"? - Page 6

My stepdad died of cancer in June of 2009 (he had a bone marrow transplant in 93 and a recurrence in 05) the last weeks were not pleasant. Also. the wifey fought off breast cancer over the last 18 months. This crap had gotten me thinking about my own "bucket list" so last summer I got a jump on it. Since August of last year I have done a several 5k races, a sprint triathlon, a couple duathlons and a full marathon. I have some more athletic competitions on the horizon, but was wondering what else I might give a go. Any suggestions (besides antifreeze)? What have you already done? What would you still like to do? Thanks, and of course, sorry if repost.

Develop a virtual reality version of Madden where you wear a bodysuit and actually play in the game as one player. You feel the hits, have to throw/catch/carry the football, tackle other players, etc.

I doubt their structural design is consistent enough for there to be a set number of licks. Plus with the variable pressure of licks and saliva consistency from person to person would be other factors. Too many variables.

I have a friend whose first job out of college was an assignment in Sydney, unfortunately, it was working for Arthur Anderson [setting up and training new offices].

I would like to set aside an entire summer to see a baseball game in every single ball park in the MLB. Then do the same thing in the fall with NFL.

What did he have to say of the experience?

I'm really hoping for New Zealand because of the amazing fly fishing but the whole beggars/choosers thing comes into play in this instance.

I would like to kill someone who pays a 6.13 bill at Hyvee with a check and then stand there writing the transaction in their check register while I'm on my lunch break. I would like to kick them to the ground and do a Pesci/Deniro kicking on them until they are dead.

Yeah.. I guess I'm having a hard time with the divorce today....

She really enjoyed herself, but I didn't get the sense she went in for big adventures. More enjoying the city night life [she's a very attractive girl, a slighter, paler, version of Angie Harmon].
