yes, it is great coffee actually. Sure beats the crap out of starbucks for a third of the price. But I was usually irritated when I went in there and I would say "One large coffee...black please" and they were either offended or confused. Then I would say "ok, no cream and no sugar" then they would say "so you want it regular then?" and I would say "Uh, ya" and then they would give me a coffee with a shit ton of cream and sugar. I like my coffee black, I don't like anything in it, apparently that is unheard of in Boston.

errr....no idea. Maybe that was back in the day. I get mine black extra sugar, and they never screw it up.

I grew up in Kansas City (Lamars for taste, Fluffy Fresh? at 102 and State Line Road for single donut volume), married someone from Boston (Dunkin Donuts) and now live in Winston-Salem (home of Krispy Kreme).

For me, DD takes dead last place even though their coffee is yummy. I prefer the light treat nature of the hot, fresh KK donut to lamars but understand why others disagree. I actually still enjoy KK even after competing in the KK Challenge (2 mile run, eat a dozen donuts, 2 mile run back to start) this winter.

I'll also be the first to ask: what? no Fractured Prune supporters?!
