Is this the year that Dorsey gets his shit together?
Grunting, sweating, screaming in a weight room is where you can find Glenn Dorsey, he has been working real hard in the offseason trying to overcome of whispers of "bust"
"I don't even want to hear that word, Yes I know I sucked balls last year, but I am ready to get my shit together. Amongst the fans and people at LSU Dorsey's nickname Was the Flying turkey for his ability to run across roads in central missouri. Taking 1st overall by the chiefs was a gamble, but a gamble that hasn't paid off yet. "we liked the fact that he played football" they said. Now a new D line coach should really help him. The new Dline coach will be working with dorsey to play football well. the average NFL career is 3.2 years, for an average player if they don't make a significant contribution they are history.

Now Given Glenn Dorsey he's in his 2nd year of a 5 year deal , with the law of averages and looking at D-Tackles develop 3 years is ample time to get one in gear. It's professional football if one can't do it in a certain period of time then the opportunity presents itself for a team to select a different player to excel at the position that he isn't.

"I've been working close with Tamba in the offseason, he's sorta taken me under his wings. He came back home with me over the 4th, I broke out the leg braces I wore as a kid and let him borrow them. What Dorsey is lacking is that "killer instinct". Its a fact that he has had a full season to show something. I think that by the 2nd preseason game, if Hailey and co. can't see that "killer instinct" it will be time to turn the reigns over to McGee. We have GOT to find a way to get these young guys on the field.

I think the fact that dorsey has been a disaster has lead more and more teams to make sure that their players like playing football and it's not just something they do. It is clear that dorsey is more worred about shooting dick sporting goods commercials than playing
