What Medicore Player/Coach will be brought in this off-season?

40+ years without a super bowl appearance
15+ years without a playoff win.

It's a Hunt tradition, so who do they bring in to "satisfy" the fan base this year?

And you're essentially saying we should try and fix situation 'A' because situation 'B' is so ****ed up.

I shouldn't get this herpes treated because I have tuberculosis. Yep, it makes positively no sense to fix one problem when you have another glaring problem.

I see you keep falling for the bait and switch. Did you ever think it doesn't matter who the cordinators are when the team drafts like shit?

There's only one person on CP who regularly makes witty, timely one-liners about war-crimes/torture; and his handle IS NOT billay.

But go ahead and convince yourself you're original and you've never read any of Hamas' post referencing said one-liners.

It does if the GM will LISTEN to the coaches and coordinators to see what they want... I don't think this happened before with CP

And keep going off topic. The topic is about the Hunts doing the same bait and switch tactics yet you can't defend it. You are an empty book Pablo.

Yes, I think Romeo Crennel can run a much more effective 3-4 defense than Clancy Pendergast ever did with the exact same personnel.

Agan this is empty speculation. It wasn't all Clancy's fault either and Romeo won't be out there making tackles. Thanks for once again proving my point dumbass.

So you really believe that Clark Hunt is using these coordinator hires as a clever scheme to distract us from the fact that we're a terrible drafting team; and that coordinators are essentially null and void in light of our personnel?

Oh, and BTW billay, it's hard to take any of your football takes seriously when you championed and still have the biggest piece of FAIL on our atrocious defense in your signature.

Hard hittin' Mike Brown must have been part of the ol' Clark Hunt 'bait and switch' scam last off-seaon. He was determined to trick gullible, ignorant fans into thinking we actually upgraded our defense via FA. I know at least one idiot bought into that notion.

And you say I parrot Hamas? Some other user used that talking point already. Like I said if the worse take I've said is signing one of the better safeties this decade then meh. Once again though you go off topic. Howcome if I'm so wrong you can't stay on topic?

Anybody>>>>>>>>Clancy Pendergast.

Anyone.

He has to be replaced. He's been awful all season. Haley has to be relieved of his OC duties. He's been awful at times. Do I think Clark Hunt and Pioli are trying to pull the ol' bait and switch on us by bringing in a new OC and DC? No. I think they have to because the coordinating on both sides of the ball was so ****ing sickening all season long that it's a necessity. And I think Weis and Crennel are close to our GM so they're the easy, logical hires. Not because they're big names and they'll get our fan-base all riled up and ready for a 9-7 season. Todd Haley has to distance himself from Clancy and the OC position if he has any hope of keeping his job after next season; and he knows that.

And yes billay, we're not a very good team when it comes to the draft but I don't think it's stupid to bring in obvious needs at OC and DC. This isn't some sort of conspiracy theory to distract the simple-minded fan base. Good coordinators are essential parts of quality teams. Maybe they'll be good for us. So yeah, I don't mind mixing up the coordinators even though our personnel is lacking. Hopefully we'll become a better team concerning the draft.

Are Weis and Crennel sure-fire answers? I don't know. But what else should Hunt and Pioli do? Not hire anyone and just hope our personnel meshes better and Haley becomes a great signal-caller and Pendergast magically becomes a defensive genius? Is that the answer?

I'd love to see the Chiefs draft better personnel, but I'm not gonna get pissed over coaching additions to a terrible coaching staff. If we had fired Haley; or demoted him to OC and brought in Bill Cowher, that's a total 'win now, put asses in seats' move. We didn't do that. We're bringing in guys that are familiar to the GM and the HC. And yeah, I expect them to be better than the guys they're replacing. I think Weis will be a more imaginative OC if the personnel doesn't change one bit and Crennel would put together a better 3-4 with the exact same personnel. And that's better than remaining stagnant in those areas.

Pablo, Weis & Crennel are great hires but as a fan this isn't the first time I've seen this. Until this franchise gets a clue that draft is the most essensital thing to winnning i'm not buying into the fake hype.
