This one is on Bowe, Breaston, and Baldwin. If they could have adjusted more proficiently, Cassel would have looked much better.

The sad part is we have probably NEVER had a more talented WR group in a time where offense is allowed all the leeway.

We need an almost perfect OL to give Cassel a 747 size window to look and throw through.

THIS. THIS. AND THIS.

He just doesn't make PLAYS. That's what is driving me nuts now. A QB is supposed to set the offensive tone not the OLine. Have you ever seen a Chicago game? Cutler is literally left there for dead like a stranded soldier in Vietnam. He makes plays out of his asshole with shit receivers. I've always been an avid Cassel supporter but this game really bit me. He didn't do anything to boost the offense and when your offense repeatedly goes 3 and out your defense becomes tired and lets the scoreboard light up. I feel a lot of the blame today is on his shoulders. I wish he would make me and everyone else eat our words but he refuses to do anything note worthy. The 'big drive' in OT in the Chargers game was a big farce. Re watch it and tell me how many tackles Breaston and McCluster avoided to pick up the first downs. Cassel is starting to become the weakest link...

The most evident failure week in and week out is the corners, namely Flowers and Carr, getting CLOWNED by all kinds of receivers, including no-name scrubs. The odd great game from either is the oddity among constant embarrassment.
Just how long do you think a corner should have to cover a receiver?

Cassel just took his hat off to the Miami Dolphins.

Problem is his hat was somewhere behind the bench laying by a Gatorade jug.

What does this guy have to do before you lose faith in him? He consistently has a 60% completion percentage on the year and 1,620 yards and a whopping nine......NINE td's in eight games with the WR core we have, and yet you still believe he is the answer at QB. This is the only game that I can remember this year where he saw this much pressure, yet he still has put up crap numbers. This guy is not the answer. I am not saying he is the only one to blame for the loss, but to say he is blameless is silly. He is a major reason why we are just 4-4 (and in not for a fluke fumble, we would be 3-5) and not better.

With 3 good WRs, how come we can't get a 300 yard passing day from Cassel EVER when 400 yards is routinely put up? Right now, the passing offense is not acceptable, given that it appears to have the talented WRs. Either that goes on Haley, or that goes on Cassel. I'm more inclined to blame Cassel, but something has to change. We have one of the worst offenses in the league, and somebody is to blame for that.

Just a wild guess, but maybe it's because the ball is often heaved into the stratosphere?
