Yes, even though I think he will bust doesn't mean we shouldn't draft him.

I would rather see effort and fail then continue down the normal path.

Thus far Mariota looks like the only guy worth spending a draft pick on in the first round.

And we've gotta somehow hope he falls past Tampa, New Orleans (Brees is getting up there), New York Jets, Washington, Tennessee, St. Louis, and Chicago, who are all teams guaranteed to pick ahead of us in the draft and need a QB. They can't all trade for backups and veterans.

Then it's down to picking the likely career backups from the mid rounds such as Connor Cook and Sean Mannion.

So... maybe Murray is the answer?

Yep, in the NFL thats a throw people rag on for months, straight up junk... we're not getting Marcus this year and people need to get used to that idea, but we have do have two players worth looking at.
