just like last July, and the July before that, and the July before that... this song and dance never gets old. KC fan proclaims greatness and talent of their team in July, August but can't seem to remember zero playoff wins in 20+ years.

I hope you have enjoyed the Manning era because the door is about to slam shut.

Next year you guys will cut Manning, Clady and probably Talib to make room to get Miller and a few other guys signed.

Better hope draft picks pan out

You mean like Broncos fans have done 3 of the last 4 years?

2012-We got Manning we won the offseason!
2013-We got Welker we won the offseason!
2014-We got Ware and Talib we won the offseason!

Denver has "won" free agency 3 of the last 4 years. It's pretty comical seeing a Donkey fan throw rocks from his glass house.

The Broncos are not the chiefs. Let me say it another way: the Broncos put a priority on the QB position and when Manning retires, I'm confident Elway will find a replacement either via the draft or FA.

chefsplanet has been saying this crap for the last 4 years, even longer:

1.) 1st, there was "no way Manning signs with the Broncos because the Broncos don't have talent."--WRONG.

2.) Then it was "Manning will suck due to neck injury"--WRONG.

3.) Now it's "Once Manning is gone the Broncos will suck!"

Don't you all ever get tired of being wrong?

lol, this is in response to the constant "CHIEFS WIN OFFSEASON!" posts that happen year after year not only on the planet but on the mane as well. So, what do Broncos fans say in reply: "hey, we've had a pretty good offseason too."

No they don't. Elway got extremely lucky that Manning was even available when he was. Just like King Carl back when Joe Montana was available.

Elway put such a high priority on the QB that he started off his regime starting Kyle ****ing Orton.

The fact is that if Manning wouldn't have been available Elway probably would have started Assweiler.

lol, wut? Do you even read your own posts? Elway inherited Orton and TT so he played the hand he was dealt. Then Elway got Manning and got rid of TT and at the same time drafted Osweiler. In the last 4 years Elway has drafted 3 QBs--Osweiler, Dysert and Siemian. Now that Kubiak is in town as the HC it's up to Kubs to either start one of these guys or tell Elway to find another QB via the draft or FA. In other words, Elway hasn't been sitting on his hands.

What about the most important one about Manning NOT winning a SB in Denver because he chokes in the playoffs?

Remember, we KNOW a little bit about choking in the playoffs...

That is the point. Elway was dealt the best hand when Manning was available. Can you remember a HOF caliber QB that was available in free agency? The last example of that that I can think of was when we got Joe Montana 20 years earlier. It's incredibly rare.

When Manning retires, he's on a level playing field like the rest of the league and will have to either draft one (these QB's are extremely rare), trade for some mid level player like Alex (because franchise QB's are very rarely or available) or roll with Assweiler.

We will find out how good Elway is after Manning is gone.

Yes, we will. The 2016 draft is going to have some good QB prospects and the Broncos have a lot of draft picks to move up and down.

Denver's gone 13-3, 13-3, 12-4 in those three seasons. They got to the Super Bowl in one of those three years. They got to the playoffs all three of those years.

I don't know if that's winning the offseason or not, but it's pretty good no matter how you phrase it.
