Week 17 bye and 4 seed

Sit everyone. Take the 4 seed.

Play Buffalo and their shit QB at home.

Take our chances at Baltimore.

I just really don’t care as long as we’re relatively healthy. This team, playing the way they’re capable of, is better than the rest. And they’ve been proving it lately.

I love this Chiefs team, and can easily say it is far better than last year’s squad except for in a couple phases, but it is ignorant to think the upcoming playoff push won’t be challenging.

I don’t trust this league one ****ing iota to not give Tom the sendoff Kraft thinks he deserves. They need the bye to have any kind of shot of getting close this year as it could very well be his ride into the sunset. Beating that team twice at their place in the same season is no easy task. I think this Chiefs team is definitely up for it, but I fear agendas will get in that way. The Ravens are also this year‘s flavor of the week and a lot of jerseys of a certain quarterback are being sold, and he is marketed as the current MVP. 12 pro bowlers named. Hype is not working in the Chiefs favor going into the playoffs let’s just say....

Mahomes had a bit of that hype going for the Chiefs last season, but nothing could overlook that atrocious defense. And despite that they were an offsides away from the big game. Maddening.
You're pathetic

I want the 3 seed, because **** the Patriots. That trash cheating team shouldn’t get to only play either the Chiefs or Ravens.

It would be very Patriot luck for us to take out Baltimore for them and let them host the AFCCG. They’ll pull out all the cheating stops for that one. You know it.

I think we can beat any of the wild card teams, but I can't believe you'd choose Buffalo with a top defense and an outstanding ball control rushing attack with Allen/Singletary over playing Duck Hodges in Arrowhead. I mean, what?

Alot more can be at stake than the 1st round. You get the 3 seed and there is an upset on the other side, you could host the AFC Championship game. Always a fan of getting the best seed you can.

Agreed.

One thing that has benefitted the Chiefs was the late bye. I think that is mildly being overlooked as to one of the reasons they have looked so good lately. Some of the adversity experienced with injuries early/mid season might have actually come at a good time, as much as it stressed the Fanbase. The squad has looked fresh and focused and hopefully this can carryover into the next several weeks.
