Let discuss Tommy Townsend

Are you happy with his performance thus far? Has he been an adequate replacement for 'the legend' Dustin Colquitt?

I feel like hes hit some boomers. Discuss...

He seems to shank about as many punts as he hits well. The defense needs all the help it can get.

How many times have we punted this season? 5?

How about the offense doesn't give the ball to the other team? That solves both problems.

To honor Sean Taylor, we should’ve ran Townsend to the boundary on a fake punt. Don’t get out of bounds no matter what, Tommy. You’ll be okay I’m sure.

His main value to the Chiefs could be that he eliminates any perceived value in bothering with a punt.

Can't imagine he has any value. If we cut him he doesn't find another starting job in his career.

Two he holds for the kicker. Maybe he is the reason Buttkicker has missed some extra points.

Nah Buttkicker was doing that with Colquitt, too.

His yips and propensity to shank kicks is a real concern. Haven't seen a lot of NFL punters struggle with those specific things like he has.
