Thats kind of scary that after we evaluated the talent the coaches and/or GM thought those were the 3 best guys.

All this was is a team with a sick QB that is the engine that runs our O not looking like what we are accustomed to. Looking ahead to Miami and fun at Octoberfest in Germany. If I was Andy I would take the team at the last date by leagues he can. When they are there load them up with meetings to keep their focus. Typical overlooked this opponent and found out.

We don't even need an impactful WR. We just neef one avg one.

No you weren't.

We should trust Veach we have won 2 of three SBs that will earn trust. The thing is we have cap and money issues. Also a hard headed DT who held out and most the free agent receivers were signed to get into camp. CJ would of freed up some money.

I liek Veach but it's fair to say he ****ed up in a huge way this season with the WRs. He got away with it last year but this year it's biting us. He will get it fixed but not without some pain, I'm afraid.

I also believe the Andy has a certain kind of receiver he wants in his offense and Veach tries to find him.

The problem is a lot of teams want the same and are drafting earlier and taking off the board. Veatch has to and guys that have the potential to be that guy. It worked out with Reek but those are rare.

Almost as if even the NFL’s all time best GMs took risks by shoring up cheap players in order to keep the rest of the team stocked.

When it works, it’s ****ing glorious (our CBs last year). When it doesn’t, you’ll have some games like this where the unit will get exposed.

It’s hilarious that the guy was like “You can’t trust Veach no matter what!” Uhh yeah. Duh. Nobody was saying he was perfect. No GM is. What are we as fans to do about it?

Rent and airplane and fly a banner.

So quickly forget what a good thing we have going on here.

Yep.

It's hard to fault Veach for his current strategy. The past two seasons he's been spending 2nds/3rds on WRs, using 1sts on pass rushers and defense, finding random defensive depth in the late rounds, and spending free agent money on the OL to protect Patrick. The hope is the WRs grow and mature, and until they do, Kelce is still around.

He's been pretty successful at all parts of the plan apart from the WRs, and even then, it's only really looking like Skyy is the bust of the group, while the other two are underwhelming at worst. Rice is going to be solid.

That's the mark of a pretty ****ing successful GM. Again, there's not a single front office dude in the NFL who is perfect, and very few can nail approx. half or more of the total moves they make.

People want good WRs? Okay. Where are you going to siphen off resources to get those WRs? Veach isnt going to skimp on OL, and this defense is hella nice. I guess maybe we should just chill out and hope some young WRs figure their shit out, eh?
