Rather win the division or have a higher draft pick?

Simple question.
We all know in our heart of hearts that no matter how much we hope and wish we are not winning the SB this year.

As much as I want to win and have hope for a miracle I think I would just as soon see the team go ahead and lose out and get a draft pick that is 5 or so positions higher and get the better athlete in every round. I believe that would help us more in the future.

Huh? The Bills could miss the playoffs entirely with a loss. There might be 1 rare scenerio with a loss that they gp to KC round 1

So what did we ultimately decide on here? We could probably really use that higher pick.......

This is so much worse than the “Trust your eyes, not your heart” thread.

The OP in that thread was just saying what we all thought to be logical at the time. It was a perfectly reasonable take based on the evidence we’d seen to that point.

This idiot actually is questioning if we should just punt on the playoffs altogether and not even take a chance to make a run.

Big yikes.

Laugh now, but we just mortgaged our future for another Super Bowl win. We're gonna have a team full of pick #32s while our division is stocking up on high draft picks.

Rather win the Super Bowl and three-peat next year or get a higher draft pick in 2025?

I'd honestly trade Pat now while his stock is at an all time high, we'd get like 10 draft picks and can rebuild the entire roster! Then you hope like hell you claw your way back to the big game within 5 years. Do it Varch!

In all seriousness, I hope like hell this is the last time we see a thread like this in the Mahomes/Reid era. It is painfully obvious they are operating on a different level than these other teams, and any doubt about that should have just been erased.

The regular season has literally become just a 17 game tune up for the playoffs. Just get in at 10-7 every year and that's really all we should care about. It's ours for the taking every single year until further notice.
