Concerned about the left side. I think Moore will have similar problems with speed rushers that we got used to last year. Unfortunately, as of now, there will be a second year player next to Moore so that amplifies the issue. Also a bit unnerving that we’re a Moore injury away from Kingsley and Wanya playing next to each other.

Concerns with Taylor are also still prevalent.

Regarding LT depth I am 100% with you, this is why I think re-signing Humphries makes sense, but would the price be right. I would think Humphries could be back up for both the LT & RT positions. Morris I would only want to see at guard from this point on

I wonder if some of Taylor issues get cleaned up with a better left side. Mahomes won’t drift to Taylor as much, which happened often.

Veach has to seriously consider drafting a LT prospect if one somehow becomes available. Even trading up a few spots if needed. Strengthening the position is of the utmost importance. We don't know what we have with Moore. He seems like an upgrade but a temporary one at that. Again, only if one of the top 4 prospects is still available in the 20s.

That too. We literally cannot go into camp without a plethora of left tackles this year because someone has to pan out.

I think that Veach definitely has his eyes on someone in the draft. This move screams temporary fix, and I applaud it, and he's going to make damned sure we end up two-deep at the position.

Hoping that’s Simmons or mayber Conerly Jr and they turn out for us long term.

So last 2 drafts they have spent high picks on guys that they thought could play tackle. For various reasons, both came up short last year.

They also kept another guy on the active roster, because they thought too highly of him to risk. There is a non-zero chance their future plans include Ethan Driscoll at LT.

Terrifying thought as it is, 😳 how do they develop him without playing time? I see no signs they think of him as guard. That means it is tackle or bust for the big kid.

I think they continue to look at trying to develop Driscoll at RT. At least that's my opinion. Hell, they could cut the kid, who knows.

As for the draft, now that there isn't pressure to go round 1 LT, I have my eyes on Charles Grant from William & Mary in the 3rd Round. 6'5" 311, 34-3/4" arms, elite athleticism. Needs to add bulk and strength to anchor in the NFL. Looks the part technique-wise in pass sets already. I think he's a definite option. Let's you focus on the bigger holes on the DL earlier.

Curious. Do like him with the Chiefs or the Titan's 3rd round pick?

Could have been better, but hopefully my mind will change after the draft.

Just not enough depth for comfort yet. I can’t stand watching this team operate with holes in their line. It’s maddening.

I feel better but Veach has got to add another piece or two for insurance. Teams like Denver and Buffalo are stacking their defenses because they see what too much pressure on Patrick causes. left side suspect.

We need a great pass blocking TE as well to counter this, Gronkowski was a beast as a blocker
