I think I might take every road team except TB this weekend. That's how good the QB's are playing for all 3 teams

I think there's probably a lot more pressure on the Bills than the Chiefs

Like no one is expecting the Chiefs to repeat, hell a sizeable portion of this board didn't think the Chiefs were going to win a playoff game. If the Chiefs lose then the narrative will be you can't win every playoff game and you can't win a superbowl every year. The Chiefs are still good except for their WRs down this year, no one is going to call the chiefs frauds for not repeating with an offence that despite having Mahomes and Kelce was middle of the pack and lead the league in drops. Like that's not a post season choke job.

Bills on the other hand are the favorites, at home, facing a team that has killed their post season multiple times and who is finally having a down year. This is the year that the bills are finally supposed to be able to beat the chiefs and maybe make a superbowl. peopel were talking about Allen being an MVP. The expectations are huge. McDermott will get fired if the they lose lol there's a lot of pressure to win this

Yeah, my point being, I feel good about this game and the only thing that’s really going to tweak that from here will be the injury situation on their end and how it evolves.

Yeah, I agree. The Bills are the "can't win the big one" team at present. The Chiefs look like the team is having a down year and needs to reload (going into the postseason). All the expectations are on the Bills to TCB. What will they be saying to themselves if they lose this game?

Trying to keep expectations low and ya'll aren't helping.

We don't often experience the underdog role, and when we did last year (mostly due to Mahomes' ankle) there was still a lot of pressure to beat the Bengals.

I feel good. I think despite injuries, Bills fans should feel good.

Gonna be a long weekend of waiting, especially if the Texans win on Saturday.

All click bait stuff there. KC hasn't been blown out(losing by more than two scores) since Week 7 of the 2021 season (27-3 to Tennessee). The offense might not be as electric as we are used to, but the defense is elite and good enough to win a SB. Outside of massive injuries or complete ineptness by the offense, this is not a team that will be blown out by anyone this year.

One of the most satisfying things I continue to see are those that are pulling for the Bills — Kyle Brandt’s and Jason McIntyre’s of the world in this case — stating this Chiefs team is the most vulnerable the Bills have gotten a shot at in the playoffs.

Maybe it’s true. Maybe. But either way you’re only fueling the beast when you say that stuff out in the open. You’re inviting the offensive line, Mahomes, Kelce, etc. to come in pissed off.

And doing all that while still maybe being incorrect anyways. If they’re going to continue funneling the offense as they have the past two games, leaning almost exclusively on Pacheco, Kelce, Rice, and letting the OL lean on people more frequently, I’ll still argue this is a better Chiefs team than 2021. Maybe it ends up being even better than last year. Because you know the defense is miles ahead what we fielded against BUF during :13 seconds.

We're more healthy than the last game. I see Pacheco balling out, opening it up.

I'm also feeling more confident in the playoffs overall, despite two 9-8 teams and the first ever 7 seed advancing... I really thought this would be a shitshow of offensive struggles, like the entire regular season, but teams are putting up a lot of points.

If anything, too many given some of the awful defensive efforts, but at least gives some hope of gooder football.

This is only the second time in his career Mahomes is not the favorite to win a playoff game. He put the team on his back in that previous one.

The question for me is whether Allen reverts to forcing things because of the pressure of this game. Their new OC Brady has done a nice job reigning Allen in with his scheme. If that continues, and the Bills get everyone except Bernard and Benford back, I still see it as slight edge Chiefs due to the better overall roster and Mahomes.

I'm vibing well. Some people keep saying this is the most vulnerable the Chiefs have been in recent years, but those folks seem to be completely discounting that this defense is far different and better than recent years defenses.

Yes, the offense was down. If the Chiefs had the defense of last year or 2021, it would be a crippling problem. But they do not.

People also seem to be crediting the Bills' offense as if it is exactly the same as it has been, when it clearly is not.

I think the Chiefs' defense will slow down the Bills a lot. This one is going to come down to the Chiefs protecting the football and doing smart things with it.

We need to get up on them even if by 3, better by 7-10. Being a season ticket holder at Arrowhead for all these years, the crowd really tenses up when we fall behind early and gets nervous and quiet. You feel the pressure and I'm sure the teams feel it as well.
