I think you're on to something! I look forward to the next century of 72 MPH curve ball head hunting with extreme shifts and the elimination of 3rd base

Blue Jays fans continuing to be babies about Donaldson... boing at an Ervin Santana that broke high and in.

You've got it! He's trying to hit him with that mis-thrown slider.

Rudy - you're never going to see guys start trying to hit batters with sliders, curves, changeups, etc. Those pitches are so tough to command as is... you try to hit a batter with them, miss inside, and they've got a really fat pitch to hit.

You never want to throw a changeup above the belt, because then it typically is going to flatten out and just become a BP fastball.

Why did you guys get rid of Ervin Santana?

He is looking good out there today.

The guy is lights out in August with a career record of 24-12 in that particular month.

If you're aiming at the head, you'd have to miss a ton. A slider or curve would make less sense than a changeup, IMO. But I don't mind conceding this one.

I didn't realize Zaun was the Blue Jays color guy. Explains why he was showing his ass about things on twitter and complaining about the umpire.

I'd expect better from a guy with Zaun's career, were he impartial.

Best thing about that is Ventura saying, basically, you'll see me next year (intimating that the Blue Jays won't play the Royals again, therefore no playoffs).

Zaunny should be up there in the broadcast booth. I say pair him up with Dan Shulman and get rid of this Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler duo.

I know you guys don't like me, and that's cool but at least we could agree that buck Martinez and pat Tabler are poop as commentators.

Those two are the worst things that could've happened to the Bluejays. Imo, they should've stayed in Kansas City

Could you folks imagine Dan Shulman and Gregg Zaun calling games for the Bluejays? With this offense? That would make for more exciting ball games.

The irony that Canadians love a sport where dudes mash each other all game, but then get up in arms about their baseball players getting hit with changeups.
