Never mind that Chris Getz BUNTED WITH TWO OUTS AND A RUNNER ON THIRD IN THE NINTH INNING.

A billion things went wrong tonight, but it's ALL Billy Butler's fault. He is, after all, fat.
Hmm, let's have some fun here...

Davis: Bad pitcher, you know you are going to have to score runs to win with him on the mound

Pitchers giving up hits: Same as above

David Lough: Not good...but not a "premiere hitter" whose only job is to hit the damn ball

Carrol: Moose was hurt, have to know if Moose took himself out or what. Can't say on that.

Dyson for Salvy: Not on your ****ing life would I bench Salvy in a close game going into the 9th

Stealing: I was bitching about not stealing all the to the ice cream parlor. I will agree with you here.

Crow: If Billay hits a fly ball, Crow never comes in the game.

Just to elaborate in more simple terms:

With the game on the line, Detorit's best hitter hit a homerun. Our best hitter made an unproductive out.

I know it's been said many times, but now that Duffy has proven what he's capable of, can someone please ask our leaders how a guy with a 5.5 ERA and a 1.75 WHIP is still in the rotation? Are we going for it this year or not? It's completely and totally inexcusable.

Oh, and TM, I meant to say, that yes, Getz bunting in that situation is beyond inexcusable. He should be cut tomorrow right along with Yost.

Fine, Matt Cassell didn't lose any games last year. It was always a collective effort. Can't single him out, thanks for that lesson in sports analysis.

It's far worse than that. 1 play either way doesn't say much, but Butler's K in the 1st with two runners on nobody out was atrocious, and his GIDP earlier was also bad. He didn't fail once, he failed multiple times. Any of which had gone the other way, we win.

Yet the guy NEVER catches any heat from the fans or media. He's been terrible this year and yet, no heat. He's our sacred cow.

Louis Coleman: 0.00 ERA, .118 BA to right handed batters, but ned decides to go with the right handed pitcher who's given up base hits to..

Yeah that was stupid. At least try to get a hit. Vince Coleman can beat it out but not Getz.

Last Saturday night late in the game, it was Elliot Johnson. (Oops! He did it with a guy on second base. No kidding. Second, with two outs!)

Royals Fisted themselves. All those loaded bases and they can't hit a fly ball.

I am really sick of this attitude that because they are doing better then some of you thought they would that we should at the bright sides of playing tough, etc. SCREW THAT!

We are in this now. I don't care about next year right now so I don't care about learning to be better for next year right now. Just because expectations were off doesn't mean we can adjust them mid season and say this team needs to be better. No moral victories. Tonight was ridiculous and inexcusable. Detroit tried there best to give us the game. We were clearly in their heads, they felt the pressure of a surging team, and we let them off the hook. This whole thought that its one game is stupid because all these "just one games" we have been having are keeping us 5 games back in the wildcard.

What? He is by far the most-criticized Royal on this board. And it's not even close.
