The fumble on the punt return that was inconclusive AT BEST...Hogan trapping the ball on 3rd down that was called a 'completion'...

The Pats will almost always get the benefit of the doubt on 50/50 calls. That's not new. It's the law of the WWFL..

It's totally on the up-and-up. Don't believe me, ask Kraft when he comes out of the rub-n-tug...

As for officiating, yeah, it leaves a lot to be desired. That's an understatement. Professional sports officials are the most protected, untouchable, ungraded and scrutinized group of people to ever get paid to do something.
There are pick plays which are legal and pick plays which are illegal. The Patriots run lots of picks, rubs and screens when facing man coverage, sure. Do they occasionally get away with something which should have a flag on it? Absolutely, let's be real, all teams all the time get away with O Linemen getting a little handsy, the occasional subtle push off on a CB or receiver, etc. Did the Patriots commit any illegal pick plays in the AFCCG? Not that I'm aware of. If they did I'm certainly open to hearing about it because I haven't yet. If you need some clarity on which are legal vs which are illegal this article does a great job of detailing it.

Edit: Can't post links yet! Google "Broncos Patriots Pick Plays", it'll be the top result, from SI.

The point I was making was simply that if the refs truly were biased in NE's favor and wished to facilitate NE winning, they could simply have called that egregious and blatantly illegal pick correctly and it would have had a potentially drastic impact on the game. Refs fail all the time because of human error, the only bias is our own in how we perceive their calls based on how far away they are from our desired outcome. This occurs from both sides, to my eyes the refs blatantly favored the Chiefs in that game, but I understand and accept that to a Chiefs fan they could watch the same game and come to the opposite conclusion. I think it's healthy to open our eyes to the flip side and see the cases where we benefited from poor officiating so we know it cuts both ways, and ultimately it's the team not the refs who determine the outcome.

Edit: still can't post links. Search for Edelman muffed punt afccg on YouTube, its the first result, from David Gershaw.

There's the review and all the angles. You tell me what body part is even questionable for having touched the ball, to make it inconclusive. Keep in mind for the view around 24 seconds in the things protruding way towards his socks are the straps on the back of his gloves, his thumbs are on top pointing towards the camera.

As far as the Hogan catch, if you have video evidence I'd be happy to review it, it would be disingenuous to pretend I even know which catch you're talking about, much less Express certainty regarding it without seeing it again.

I love it what a Pats defender calls for calm and reason as it relates to them getting away with shit.

Perhaps you can just be honest, until enough of the other owners care enough to end the pro-Pats bias, it's not going to change.

You'd think, at this point, the competition committee would be looking to shuffle the divisions to ensure the Pats aren't gifted six division wins every year.

Nobody who truly understands football is impressed by your "dynasty." We all have figured out what we've seen. We understand that there are bad calls in games. We all get that nothing is going to be perfect. But when every 'bad' call goes the way of one team, and helps them win at the highest level non-stop, there is more to it. There is, dare I say, manipulation occurring.

I don't really need to explain myself. It's the reason you're here. How many Super Bowls do you need to win before you feel secure enough to stop trolling message boards of a team who hasn't won a Super Bowl in 50 years? One more? Is that going to finally do it? Then by all means, please go win it. Then maybe Tom will stop drinking HGH shakes for breakfast in between French kissing his son and just go the hell away.

Leave us alone. In fact, leave the entire NFL alone. Nobody cares about you or your evil team. We complain because your manipulation over the league is unfair and obvious, and we're sick of watching it. Everyone is, except you. You're ruining the greatest sport on Earth, and you know it. Which again, is why you're here.

If the Chiefs somehow won like 5 Super Bowls in the next 10 years, I can assure you I won't be trolling any other team's message boards. Unless I felt the need to defend my team constantly winning when they obviously don't deserve to, which I wouldn't.
Gee, should I ask how you feel about Nick Saban?

On this link discussing it, even a Pats fan said it should've been reversed under review :

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards...g-nfl/77424819

Someone posted a .jpg of the ball on the ground while Hogan is on the ground making "the catch", though. It was challenged, and somehow upheld.

It would be nice if that person could post the jpg again, because I can't find it.

It's like the NFL is scrubbing that play from the internet, because it was an obvious bad call.

As for PEDelman's muffed punt, the ball could could've either bounced off his thumb or his forearm. Problem is, the replay doesn't prove that it DIDN'T...there was simply not enough evidence to definitively overturn the call.

DAMMIT!!! WHY did you bring FACTS into the discussion??? Pats Fan only accepts them when it supports their points of view. This is especially true every time they are under investigation for cheating.

You really need to stop this because it's making you look like a stupid fan.

It was never a fumble on a punt return it was a muffed punt that was correctly changed upon review. Anyone not wearing Chiefs' colored glasses could see that on the review.

Hogan's play was called a catch on the field and the reviews were inconclusive so the call had to stay.
