All in all, not a bad showing.

In a way, I hope Baltimore loses, and the Chiefs beat the Broncos so that they KNOW they would have been in.

I will say that I agree with the principle, but I wouldn't do it as an in game adjustment. Every player has a responsibility on every play. It goes beyond coverage. And, if you do something like that in game, you are more likely to have blown coverages and big plays.

Gafney hasn't killed us nearly as much as Haley has killed us. He's on the hook for a possible +7 turning into a -7 by virtue of his idiocy.
He's also responsible for turning a possible +7 from a 1st and G at the TWO, into a +3 because Bowe still can't line up correctly on the LOS. That cost us 5 yards and then Chambers drops a TD in hos ****ING HANDS!!

If Jabbar Gaffney catches 17 passes for 250 and we win, I'm okay with that. It will mean the D soldout trying to stop the run and forcing Orton to win the game.

I can live with that.

Agreed, except it was Chambers that lined up incorrectly - and Goodman made a great play on that 3rd down pass. Can't expect Chambers to pull in a pass that the CB deflects.

No, not at all. I think a QB gets comfortable with certain receivers. Gaffney is getting open. Before long, Orton starts looking for him on every play.
