Mahomes Injury Updates Thread

Figured it would be more ideal to give this its own thread than the Jaguars gamethread.

Unspoiler to see the first two updates

Spoiler!

UPDATE 3: Courtesy of King - High Ankle Sprain Confirmed

UPDATE 4: Got asked to add this report from Arrowhead Pride to the OP: https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2023/...chiefs-presser

Put Kelce and Gray in the back field behind Bell and push forward like the Eagles do with Hurts.

I just realized the Eagles had 70 ****ing sacks this year.

EVERY team can play that game...some simply play it more than others.

I say just run Pacheco up the middle and the Chiefs interior offensive line... with two Pro Bowl players and the strength of the line needs to be able to help get a yard.
Bell can throw the ball, he threw for 1600 yds and 12 TDS his jr year at OU, short passes ave 7 yds. Unless he hurt his arm, as he moved to TE exclusively his SR year.

You realize NO TEAM expects a QB sneak from Kansas City. You also realize the Chiefs NEVER convert 3 and short by running it up the middle. Our short yardage run game is shit

Bovada has the prop bet for any time TD for Mahomes @+800
I could see him scrambling for one of those 2-3 yard TD's where he plays point guard and ends up keeping it after a few pump fakes.

Cheffers also throws 20% more flags than the average ref... 16.12/game vs 13.5 for everyone else.

So, without getting into home vs away and so forth, you'd expect the average ref to throw 6.75 flags on the Chiefs, but would also expect Cheffers to throw 8.1 flags.

The Chiefs had 5.86 flags for the non-Cheffers games and 7.5 with Cheffers... you'd expect Cheffers to throw 7 per game at his +20%, so the difference is a flag more per game.

He hates the Chiefs a flag worth, proven by the "full weight" bullshit, and the flag when the Texans receiver literally ran into the safety.
I don't think he hates the Chiefs, I think he steers games to cover the spread. I don't think he gives a shit who wins, as long as Vegas wins.

They don’t expect a QB sneak from Mahomes, but when they line up Bell on that play, everyone knows it’s a QB sneak… there is no “sneak” or element of surprise to it.
