I STILL see Leafs fans excusing Matthews and the core this year with shit like "it's not like stars are always great, even Makar had a bad game 7" .....uhhhh, compared to Matthews entire ****ing career?! And there are always mentions of 'outsiders' exaggerating stats and performance because they hate the Leafs.

And I assume those are the same fans who continue to pay $1k+ for a pair of tickets to game 7s (or any playoff game). At least a couple of those guys come off the books this offseason.
