I mean, kelce could be argued to be that #1 WR and then some.

Hard to choose between kelce and jamar chase or kelce and Justin Jefferson when you get asked the question

Thats a good point. Chiefs definitely have that going for them similar to the Pats Gronk years.

2018 Patriots?

2016 Patriots didn’t even have Gronk for most of the year. He missed the SB

The last non-Patriots team (without an elite defense, so no Seattle) to win without a #1 WR is probably the 2012 Ravens. Anquan Boldin could be a beast though

Go ahead and extend this guy Veach. He’s the best big receiver we’ve had since Sammy Watkins. Just like Sammy he’s fast, strong and breaks tackles. But Juju isn’t a broke dick.

The MVS and Juju additions have paid serious dividends for us

Looked really good. I've been sh***ing on him and thinking he's washed as much as anyone here so I'll happily take the lumps. If he keeps playing like this he'll have been a big success. If we can give Pat time he really is going to give these guys crazy numbers.

The last couple of weeks he's demonstrated the physicality people were wanting to see from him.

That early season pick where he didn't fight for the ball (Colts game-ender, IIRC) annoyed me quite a bit because dammit, that's why he's here...or so I thought.

But the last couple of weeks he's had catch and runs where he's powered through guys after he caught it. So maybe this isn't a contested catch thing where he's going to fight through contact for the football. Maybe it's a Sammy Watkins, YAC thing where we'll get him the ball quickly and with some room and then he fights through contact for additional yards.

That's probably the best way to utilize his strength. Not this 'he knows where the holes in the zone are' stuff or the 'he'll battle for the ball and be a 3rd down/red zone weapon' kind of Dwayne Bowe stuff.

But rather than he'll be a quasi-RB after the catch like Watkins was when he was healthy.

On top of the production, him and MVS have sold that KC is the place for WR's to go to rebuild value.
