Let’s talk about the Bengals (AFC Championship Rd)

Welp this game has been on everyone’s minds since the start of the season.

Let’s get some revenge goddamnit!

I don't understand it. The media, most fans, everyone is picking Cincy. An underdog Chiefs team at home should scare any team out there. The longer this goes on (and I don't see it changing), the more likely it is for the Chiefs to not only win, but win by at least double digits.

The Bengals have played two tough games back to back with the Ravens and then big game against the Bills. At some point those games catch up with you..we'll see if it's on Sunday.
Unfortunately that Buffalo game was nowhere near as tough for Cincy as it should have been. I was hoping it would be a tough battle all the way into overtime. It was pretty much over by the time the 4th quarter started. Cincy also got 85% of a bye week with the Damar Hamlin situation. They only played 15% of 60 minutes in that game.

Yeah... with both teams at full strength it's probably a 50/50. I think we're a little unlucky not to have won at least 1 of the last 3, and they have all been close games. With Mahomes less than 100% you have to give them the edge this time.

Why would you think anything else unless you're just building up excuses so you won't feel as bad when they lose?

The team has repeatedly said he's going to be ready to go. He says he feels great.

Take it at face value instead of ignoring it.

He's going to be fine and the Chiefs are going to win.

The injury thingy and losing to them 3 times in a row has a lot of people nervous.

The fact that all of this negativity talk, the fact we were missing many key players last time, plus the fact that we have beat ourselves all 3 games and not wanting to lose a 4th time ought to be enough motivation on top the fact the winner goes to the SB for a KC WIn!

I feel way more confident in this game than I ever did last year. The trend that the Chiefs have is quite clear: they lose these games that they get surprised by like last years Bengals.

The games they knowingly prepare for, against an opponent they know well and hate, will be taken very seriously.

Perfect example is the TB game. They hadn’t been on that field since the SB loss and they had a terrible taste in their mouth. It didn’t matter that the Bucs weren’t as good as before bc the Chiefs absolute beat the shit out of them.

They were focused. They were prepared. They took it personally.

Yeah. I think this is a VERY personal game for them.

I thought they ran out of gas last year too. Multiple OT games and close games over a 3 year period..They were physically and emotionally spent… New fresh players this year that are hungry for their Championship run…
