What's the lovefest with Fisher?

Lotta people on here saying no to Romeo and want Fisher. Why Fisher? What is so great about him? Wouldn't he just be more of the same? What has he done that makes you want him as a HC so much? Doesn't he have a losing record against the Chiefs? If so doesn't that mean he couldn't put together a better team than we had in the past? So what's the big sell for him as opposed to Romeo or someone else?

You don't see the hypocrisy in that "logic" (using the term lightly)?
I think he shares the same Blame BB had for the same team. Why don't you pull your head out of your ass and look at the entire context of it? No coach has done any good in Cleveland. NONE! BB had 1 winning year in 5 and now he is one of the best coaches in the league. If NE used your logic he never would have been hired. When a team goes through coach after coach after coach and they all have the same performance then LOGIC has to tell you the problem is probably not with the coaches.

Romeo had more losing seasons than .500 or above seasons in Cleveland.

Romeo's average wins per season in Cleveland were 6. That is BELOW mediocre. That is Herm Edwards mediocre.

Romeo in Cleveland...

1 winning season
0 .500 seasons
3 losing seasons

A 24-40 record.

Of course you Romeosexuals will cry about Cleveland's front office and how poor Romeo had no shot at success blah blah blah blah blah.

Of course when you are presented with the similar facts relating to the situation Fisher was working with during his time in Houston/Tennessee (a terrible owner, Bud Adams, a messy relocation from Houston to Tennessee, etc.) you gloss over it because it doesn't fit your failed argument.
Obviously you are full of it. Bud Adams was a founding member of the AFL and had many winning teams. The fact that he moved from Houston doesn't change the fact that he spent money and had good teams. The Browns are essentially an expansion team(The original Browns left remember?)

This Browns team has struggled since it's inception and is still trying to get the right people in place. Bud Adams would have some Super Bowls if not for being in the same division as one of the greatest teams in NFL history. They had 14 playoff games and 6 division Championships before moving. They also were in 3 AFL/AFC Champioship games before moving. Since leaving Texas they have added to those totals. This Cleveland team is an expansion team. Your misquotes of facts says all that need to be said about your opinion. (Uninformed)

Besides...both of these guys are Marty-ballish. The difference? Fisher is a better Marty than Romeo...ergo...if you have to choose between two turds...

BTW...not surprised the KC media is salivating for Romeo. He gives them quotes. He talks in specifics. He shoots straight. Gunther did the same thing...and did so in his best confident-as-hell voice. I'm not impressed with such things.
Great post.
