That said, the NFL will never go for it, that might make it harder for them to get the outcomes Vegas and the NFL want/need. And they can get fined as part-timers too, they don't need to be full-time.

You guys are funny. Bitching about NFL refs (who definitely suck) is basically "old guy yells at cloud". The NFL won't do anything about it because they don't care. Everyone on this forum could never watch another NFL game or purchase anything NFL related and it wouldn't even register as anything to the NFL. Businesses tend to only change when what they are doing or not doing effects the bottom line.
