Huard will start looking like the Damon Huard of 2006 if LJ starts ripping off consistent positive yardage...

Neither Damon or Brodie are going to look good on 2nd and long, or 3rd and long...that's just not how our offense is built to work.

The truth is, the job was his, and he lost it by playing RIDICULOUSLY bad in the preseason.

CASE CLOSED

Damon has us in 1st place. Credit the defense, credit the coaches, credit everyone other than Damon but by my count we have 3 come from behind wins in the 4th quarter this year...our golden boy Trent was at his worst in the 4th quarter when we needed him the most...so at least we have a guy who doesn't put up a pretty stat line but wins ball games in the clutch.
I don't care about Trent. I'm with you, I think Huard should have started the playoff game. However, I think Brodie should start now. I think he has more to offer than Brodie.

You keep touting that we are in first place, and we are a missed FG out of last. We're not exactly dominating while riding the wave of Huard's arm.

I am happy as hell we beat the living shit out of SD. Then we beat the Faders. That's awesome. We are in first place in the division. That is fan fuggin tastic. I love it. If we make it to the playoffs, I hope we can go in and beat somebody. If we play the Patriots, I hope we beat the hell out of them. But I still feel like Brodie should start for the Chiefs, based on the horribly limited comparison between the two. If he is so bad, they should have cut him and brought in a vet backup.

I would not care at all about Huard being our QB if he was playing like he did last year. They started Huard because he did good last year, and Croyle had a bad pre season. Huard most likely would of had a bad pre season too, and he isn't playing anything like he did last year. Huard is not the one who has us at the top of the AFC West right now, the defense is.

He is playing EXACTLY how he played last year...Huard started off slow in those games and always had better 2nd halves...

EITHER WAY, Huard also had a running back who was consistently picking up first downs...he doesn't exactly have that this year.

Huard signed a 7.5 million dollar contract, LJ signed a 50 million dollar contract.

Who do you think is suppose to be carrying this offense?

Huard is in there to manage the game and not **** up, and he's done a FINE job of that this year...his fumbles are WAY down and he still takes WAY LESS sacks than any QB should behind this offensive line.

Croyle has potential, but I rather see that potential behind a revamped offensive line...honestly, I figured we'd start 1-3 and turn the team over to Croyle...but that didn't happen and we are 2-0 in the AFC West, have 4 of our next 5 at home, and we're sitting in 1st place.

Time to drop the Croyle bullshit and get behind Huard and the Chiefs. Aren't we all Chiefs fans here?

O yea I'm a Chiefs fan, but not a Damon fan. I honestly don't see Croyle having any more INT's right now had he played than what Huard has. Croyle is used to playing in an offense where he doesn't **** up the the defense does the rest. He is used to a shitty line, and he has way more talent and mobility than Huard. I wouldn't have a problem with his waiting on the bench if it was because there is a good QB here, but there isn't. We need a QB that can some what make up for LJ's and the lines poor performance, we don't know for sure if its Croyle YET, but we do know it isn't Damon Horrid.

You really can't compare the college game to the pro game...

and besides, the quicker fans like you deal with Huard being the QB, the more enjoyable the season will get, because do you REALLY think a 1st place team is going to make a QB switch?

NOT GONNA HAPPEN

Considering he played in a pro-style offense at Alabama, with the most crazy insane fans in America.

I really enjoy being in first, I love SOME of the plays Damon has made, but I just hate how bad the offense is doing. I honestly don't think the Chiefs can STAY in first the way the offense is playing though. We usually do good coming out of the bye, and if the offense can get something going, then I can live another year with Huard. Until the offense gets going, I want Croyle.

If we take care of our home games, we should be 8-4 heading into our final stretch...and we have 3 road games but against a few weak opponents...10-6 would be marvelous, and I think it wins us the division.

that and we'll have every tiebreaker for once which is nice...2-0 in the west with both games being on the road is HUGE.

Is it true that KC is the only team in the NFL that Brett Favre has never beaten? I really like us coming out of the bye week against them, I think we have a very good chance at beating them, I just hope they win this weekend first!

Green Bay is super overrated. I totally assume we will be home dogs again, and I am totally going to jump all over that in Gambling Challenge again.
