I guess I'm looking for far-fetched, odd happenings you've experienced, such as: anything super-natural, events, etc, etc.

yeah if anything goes wrong on landing.. You should always apply power, maintain a postive rate of climb, to get yourself clear of trouble...

We practice "go arounds" with students all the time. The have to know if anything isnt right, to go around and come back for another try...

Only problem was I was wheels down and losing lift/airspeed quickly when it locked up. So I applied power and waited for the runway lights to disappear under the nose. It is a pretty wide runway...

Problem is the ramp is pretty big as well, but at 70 Kts, is gets small in a hurry...

I needed new boxers afterwards...

Wierd thing was I have a mechanic look at it the next day and nothing was wrong with the brakes or wheel assembly...

Well, this is why I lasted one lesson. My first instinct would have been to eject.

I once thought it would be enjoyable to watch a Chiefs game. How embarassing is that?

I've had an out-of-body experience. Does that count?

I think I've shared enough embarrassing moments on here to last for a while.

Sully apparently lived in a haunted house and invented the phrase, "no cuts, no buts, no coconuts." I'm surprised he hasn't weighed in with these two gems yet!

I was in critical condition after a car accident about 15 years ago. While in the hospital, unable to move and tethered to tubes, I awoke to a "calling", and I will swear to this day that I saw 3 guys in black robes at the foot of the bed summoning me. I dont know if they were death or what, but I wasn't able to make any noise, and low and behold, my mother came into the room and they sort of just went away. Pretty freaky.

Also, when my father was about to die (in hospice), I spoke with a very good friend of mine who hadn't spoken with his father for 12 years because his father didn't like that he married a jewish girl and converted to judiaism. Anyhow, in a fit of tears, I told him he really should call his dad and try to reconnect, you know, grandchildren and all. Anyhow, he calls me the next day and tells me his sister called him to tell him his father was diagnosed with cancer. He now talks to him weekly. Pretty cool, but not really eerie or anything

Alright....

When I was about 10 years old, I had a dream that I was in the hospital. There were Sesame Street characters on the wall, the nurse would put a band-aid on my arm, and my grandma would come in and take me for walks down the hallway. I told my mom about this dream one time, and she told me it wasn't a dream. I had double pneumonia when I was two years old. My room at the hospital had Sesame Street characters, the nurse would put a band-aid on my arm to calm me down after giving me a shot, and my grandmother would take me for walks down the hallway to get me out of bed for a bit.

Bendy girls are fun. I dated a girl much the same, and it wasn't for the conversation.

I don't feel bad about it.

Hell yes I honk... do you think I'm crazy?

Last time I was back there, they had spiffed up the old barn. It has a snazzy red, white, and blue door on it now.
