Adam_Schefter PART I: Through his agent, Larry Johnson just released a statement, apologizing to Todd Haley, the Chiefs, the NFL, Roger Goodell.

Adam_Schefter PART 2: Johnson: "I regret my actions. The words were used by me in frustration., and they were not appropriate."

Adam_Schefter PART 3: "I did not intend to offend anyone, but that is no excuse for what I said. I will do my best to learn from this."

"First of all, I want to apologize to the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the NFL, Commissioner Goodell, the Chiefs organization, Coach Todd Haley, his staff, and my teammates for the words I used yesterday. I regret my actions. The words were used by me in frustration, and they were not appropriate. I did not intend to offend anyone, but that is no excuse for what I said.

"I also want to apologize to all the kids who view athletes as role models. I was not a good role model yesterday and hopefully I can become a better role model. We all make mistakes, and the challenge is to learn from them. I will do my best to learn from this one as I move toward becoming a better person, teammate, and member of the Kansas City Chiefs team and community."

According to the website RealGM.com, a "team source" is saying that the Chiefs will sever ties with Larry Johnson in the very near future.
Make sure to take the claim with a big grain of salt, as this website has no history of breaking news. RealGM.com claims L.J. also had to apologize for using gay slurs last season, and that Johnson will be released before the end of the week. The website may simply be reading tea leaves. Still, we wouldn't be one bit surprised if the "report" turns out to be true.

And to call it a greatest profession in the world, it does mean something when you consider how much the NFL, in whole, make in a business. However, just like every business or workforce, every ****ing moron, including yourself, have to adhere by the rules. The first simple rule, that your ****ing mommy and daddy should had taught you was not to make an idiot out of yourself. Apparently, they havent' educated you that very well.

Also, I thought I would let you know, just to save everybody else the trouble, that you're awfully getting close to the Tom Ca$h and Marlboro Chief levels. You are starting to become the biggest ****ing asshole piece of shit this forum has ever seen, since those two clowns.

You wouldn't think it would be entertainment if you were an actual NFL player (or coach for that matter) having to do this type of a job. There are alot of demanding requirements from them, coming from the NFL, to the Owners, to the coaches, and fans alike. There are alot of responsibilities that comes into this. All of their decision making, it affects their salary, one way or another.

Performance on the field, is one thing. Making smart decisions is another.

It all comes down to considering the feelings of others. Do I make gay jokes? Sure. Would I do so in a large crowd or in front of people I didn't know? Nope. Because I was raised to respect other people's feelings. Golden rule man. I actually work on not offending people. This is basically thinking before you talk. (Or tweet, as the case may be).
