Here we go...
This is the 1st of two rounds for your 2009 ChiefsPlanet MVP.
This poll will close in 48 hours afterwards the top 10 candidates will be placed in a final poll.

I appreciate your patience.
The rules are simple...

1. No mult accounts are allowed to vote. If we see this, that poster will be disqualified from the competition.
1a. If there are multiple new accounts(less than 5 posts) voting for a single poster, the academy reserves the right to disqualify those votes to prevent any shenagians.

2.All bribery will be tracked by the Academy and updated regularly.

3. Campaign managers and candidate supporters are permitted to make said bribes with or without the candidate’s knowledge or approval.

4. The poll will be public to make bribery easier, (obviously).

2. Gonzo: For every vote, + rep from Sofa King, Fritz, Gonzo, Pestilence and California Chief. $10,000.00 in casino cash from Pesitilence, $4,000.00 from Gonzo, California Chief and Sofa King. Total of $22,000.00 dollars. YOU MUST PM TO COLLECT.

I'm still not sure who I'll vote for. I was gonna vote for Gonzo or for Lumpy, but I kinda am turned off by all this campaigning for one's self. Shouldn't you win fair and square because you're a good poster?

yeah its fun to watch the above the board shenigans take place. But for me my vote shall remain a pure. non-biased, graft/bribery free vote for the most deserving MVP.

I'm with Jilly. I voted for Bugsy because he's a good guy, funny, and talks sports. Didn't even read through the bribery bs.

I won't be voting, but I feel bad for GoChiefs because a week from now I own his sig rights until Week 1 of next year.

Let me also add that this whole idea is bullshit because the Planet would thrive no matter what even if you took any single poster away, and also "The Academy" is pretty lame. The posters in the Academy are cool, but I foresee problems arising a la the Debacle of Nov/Dec 2008.

Well, you see I totally owned GoChiefs in a sig bet for the 2nd year in a row, and he was so confident that he said a sig bet wasn't enough so we also bet $50.

The bet was between LJ and LT. For every rush yard they got they got 1 point and every TD they got it was 50 points. Considering LJ hasn't scored a TD all year and LT has the 3rd most TDs in the league, I ran away with the bet.
