Rumors on Cassel and Haley

http://kan.scout.com/2/1108098.html

Quote:
There were rumblings a few months ago that the organization had soured on Cassel. This week, we heard that Cassel, like his head coach Todd Haley, wasn’t getting the warm and fuzzy feeling from management AKA Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli.

Based on that, the Chiefs may already be on the Andrew Luck watch
Quote:
More losses are coming. The Chiefs and their head coach, the embattled Todd Haley, are about to find out just how tight the noose gets. We’ve already heard names such as Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden and Kirk Ferentz linked to the Chiefs.

I can’t see Pioli firing Haley until he has a firm commitment that a big name coaching talent has agreed in principle to join the team in January. In the event Haley is fired midseason, we’ve been told defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel will accept a temporary coaching position for the remainder of the season .

Yea, he is just god awful. I seriously cannot believe we didn't bring in Sharper. How much worse could Sharper POSSIBLY be...

Getting piss pounded in the first 2 games is bad.

Losing 3 of our best players is bad.

Having to put up with constant BS like this being posted all ****ing season by Claython is possibly the worst part of it all. We have our own troll with 150,000 posts.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I basically agree here. If everyone continues to drop 50 on us then yes Haley is in jeopardy. I re-watched the beginning of the game and we were moving the ball the game was competitive until the missed field at the end of the first quarter. With Charles down and both kickers looking horrible its like they let the air out of the tires.

Then 6 turnovers later...

Yep. Also all the early penalities really helped extend scoring drives for Detroit. I was surprised they were "only" down 17-3 right before half.

Yeah the first quarter didn't look to bad all things considered. That being said, shit happens and if you can't adjust then you just aren't good enough. Hell, all teams have rough points or bad breaks, they don't lose by 30+ 2 straight games.
