One person and one person to blame there...the idiot owner.

He knew what he was doing and he's trying to capitalize off of it now...no wonder he started screaming abuse and racial profiling after this...$$$.

Funny how he put the dog in the back seat with the windows done, which allowed the dog a convenient escape once it saw what was going on.

He knew what the outcome would be, this entire thing looks orchestrated...why else would he needlessly resist? To entice the dog.

Pretty disgusting...poor dog. Don't blame the officers at all, I've had to do the same...it sucks trust me.

I agree that the guy was an idiot. But I still don't see why the cops needed to arrest him. Words don't hurt and cops are held with a higher standard. Ignore someone yelling since they aren't of any threat. He just annoyed the cops.

man that's horrible. I grew up in country ass kansas. People would kill animals all the time just for shits and giggles. I grew up on a road that was pretty popular to dump animals off and leave kittens in boxes to rot and die. I ****ing hate people. We would try to take the animals we could catch in, get them to the vet and try to find homes.

Hell, my neighbor shot another neighbor's dog just for trying to mate with his dog right in front of their kids.

Cops wanted no part of it. Not much I could do in my mind. Sucked bad she was a good girl. More than likely some dipshit kids out in a truck target practicing.

Don't they give these to cops for situations like this?

What was he doing there. Didn't seem like anything concerned him and he was instigating. Also was odd that the cops cuffed him without securing the dog first.

That's not going to do much to a Rottweiler besides actually pissing it off.

Agreed. In that situation the best bet would be to throw it and hope the rot likes to fetch.

Not sure but wouldn't a taser be as effective? I know I'm machine gun posting but I'm curious.

Hitting a dog that pissed is only going to make it more mean and aggressive...I've seen it happen.

Also seen what happened when an enraged dog was tazed...it took off running and ripped the barbs out and came back pissed off x10.

It's sad to see and I feel horrible for the dog but the officer was justified.

That's really ****ed up. I had a 120 lb American bulldog and that breaks my heart. Cops and the owner could have handled this better. If I'm that cop I don't know if I wouldn't had done the same thing. I have no clue what the guy said amd why the cops immediately arrest the guy, both probably have equal blame here. Unless someone's civil rights are being violated general rule is sit back and let the cops do their job..that's just my motto. Like I said we don't know what the guy saw that provoked him to yell at the cops...given the bad history between the police department and minorities in that area it just makes this incident even worse.
