Earl Thomas Here's the link: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-top100-2015 Watching the highlights gets me excited for the season all over again. How many Chiefs are we thinking make the top 100 this year? Last year we had five in Charles (8), Hali (37), Berry (50), Houston (57), and DJ (64). Charles and Houston are locks. Both could justifiably be named in the top 10 but I'm guessing they'll both be snubbed by more marketable names like Watt and Bell/Lynch. I'm still thinking top 20 for JC and Houston, though. Hali won't make it along with DJ and Berry for obvious reasons. I think this will be the year Poe finally cracks the lineup. Maybe somewhere in the 80s. Hudson might be deserving but **** that guy. Maclin will likely be named somewhere in the 60s, I'd guess..? Sean Smith could squeak on if they put a scrub like Julian Edelman on there but I highly doubt it. He'd need another season like he had last year to hope for that kind of recognition. Anyway, thoughts? Last edited by ThaVirus; 06-24-2015 at 11:17 PM.. |

I'm guess the OL that Houston consistently abused didn't vote for him...

I do notice that Houston is 6 spots ahead of Von Miller.

This brings up a good point. I was 100% certain that Houston would be ranked lower than Poe and Charles. If they don't make it, then that's just stupid.

Pretty crazy. Aldon smith was #7 after his 19.5 sack season and Houston is a much more complete player. IMHO I think a reason he's so underrated is because he isn't as flashy as some of the other guys. Von has super human like athleticism, Aldon has super human like strength and burst. Houston is still a great athlete but not quite like those guys. Houston is the wladimir klitschko, or emmitt smith of pass rushers.

Shut your whore mouth.
Julio Jones coming in at top 20, I love it. What else should you expect from the best damn wide receiver in football? ![]() |

So wait, Demaryius Thomas and Peyton are certainly in the top 20, but what about Chris Harris? My guess is that he wouldn't be in the top 20 of a player-voted list, but I'd expect him to be in the top 100.

I wouldn't think he would be ranked higher than Houston. But then again, Houston did something that only two other players have ever done (Gastineau and Jared Allen - Strahan didn't earn it), and he still only ranked 27th.

So are we guessing who the top 20 are? I'll throw out in no order:
Jamaal Charles The Mummified Corpse of Peyton Manning JJ Watt Maybe Demarco Murray this year Richard Sherman Tom Brady unless he's disqualified Aaron Rodgers Calvin Johnson Maybe Overrated Lesean McCoy The former Drew Brees? Marshawn Lynch? Luke Kuechly

Drew Brees and Lesean McCoy have already been ranked, if I'm not mistaken.

Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown, Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Jamaal Charles, Demarco Murray, Marshawn Lynch, Rob Gronkowski, JJ Watt, Richard Sherman and Darrelle Revis are the biggest names yet to be ranked.
Obviously there are a few not coming to mind for me at the moment.. |
