Why is the KC media actively sabotaging their best players?

Listing Mahomes home address on the news ...is just the latest in bizarre media coverage.

They have the JC DA creating a media spectacle...and offers his "opinions" about the Hills.

They welcome their new $100 Million DE with a SJW hit-piece from the star.

They ran K. Hunt out of town only to see the Browns happily sign him for peanuts.

Fat Brooke from the Star instigated this entire witch hunt towards Hill..which resulted in a "no convictions" verdict.

KCTV5 airs a covertly recorded conversation between the Hills and edits it with no context.

I've never seen anything like this...are the local fans really as outraged as the media pretends to be?

What is their goal? To dismantle the first legitimate SB team KC has had in decades?

If I were Mahomes...I would really start to consider moving somewhere else. It's a potentially career damaging environment to live in.

I know with news if it bleeds it leads, but at some point it gets to be too much. 610 and 810 were both right at it at 600pm last night either streaming the KCTV5 news story or talking to no end about it. I'm already to the point where I'm tired of hearing the media talk about it. I know they probably get great ratings even speaking Tyreek's name, but KCTV5 is becoming paparazzi/TMZ like and I don't like that from my local news. There's a point where you start to invade people's privacy in order to get even a smidgeon of a boost to your ratings, and KCTV5 hit that a bit ago. Anytime radio or local news start to go into Tyreek's situation I just turn it off. I'd rather listen to Taylor Swift than listen to them slam on Tyreek over and over again. At this moment, you're just beating a dead horse.

The fact that some people want to do lifetime bans off an Internet forum is the stupidest shit ever.

If you can’t handle someone shit talking you on the internet and want to ban them is the most weak minded shit. If you want to do something to try and shut down their shit, bet them a donation of money to a charity you like. Donate money to the site, but if you automatically jump to a lifetime ban because a stranger on the internet hurt your feelings you should just stay off the internet.

I used to work for the Astros. He says I "stole some merchandise" from a fellow board member who gave me some stuff to get signed. I didn't and told him to contact the person to ask him. If I stole the items in question, I'm gone. If I didn't -he's gone. I didn't steal anything so he had no chance from the start. I may ask him to bet on last year's Super Bowl next. I'll take the Patriots. Same kind of deal.

Truth be told, I'm not in it for him to leave. He was just pushing something he heard to get back at me, without getting all the facts. I turned it into a simple exorcise on how a false narrative can be pushed, (like the media often does as to go with this thread) but added a consequence. Point proven. No biggie.

I'm a dickhead, but not a thief.

Has anyone mentioned that it's pretty typical for the media to cover major real estate transactions, especially when they involve famous people? Or nah

And then the **** from Yahoo who used to be a Cheatriots beat reporter will chime in to remind us that anybody who doesn't want to see Hill wind up in Cleveland is a wife beater/child abuser.

Some of you profoundly misunderstand the role the media is supposed to play in our (for now) functioning democracy. Can't imagine where you got it from.

Hint: they're not supposed to support the entrenched power structure. Once that happens it's good game democracy - hello Putin-style sham democracy. Which, yes I know, many of you would welcome with open arms.

Just hope I die before some of you idiots destroy the country.
