I know it's probably a routine surgery but still the last three months have been brutal hell for me. It all started when I thought it was a COPD flair up and having hyperventilation that sent me to ER in ambula nce 3 times. Usually after a week of steroids it clear up but I ended up on roids for a month. Then my primary doctor referred me to my pulminologist because each time my O2 stats were normal. However my chest was burning in flames. My pulminologist sent me to a specialist surgeon. I had a scope done down my throat and turned out I have a Hiatal hernia. That means I have bad acid reflux that I have been throwing up that caused all my chest pain. I've actually had it long time but now just horrific.

They started me on new stomach meds and after a week I started feeling much better. I was scheduled for second scope but that got postponed. Then when it was time for my second scope the told me be off my meds for a week prior. I did not like this idea but ok got to do it. After a day of no stomach meds I took a bite of something I thought was mild but I knew it was a **** up. That night I was violently throwing up. Next morning I felt like he'll and could barely pee at 1130 am I made a mental note. That day I spent trying hydrate myself only to violently puke that went all night I couldn't piss. Next day after 24 hours not passing I felt my dick was going explode. I went to ER explained what was going on. My biggest fear came to reality. Holy **** balls mother ****ing hell catheter I thought I was going pass out. They drained 700 CC. They also said from. Urine sample that I was potassium deficient from puking. My kidneys hoarded the potassium that quit making Urine. So I made sure I ate things I could and potassium supplement. Holy Hell

I got my second scope and swallow study done doctor said I have severe esophagus damage level D. Good news after surgery a lot of that can heal o er time and medication.

So here I am on to have surgery. I've missed much of work last 3 months used up 200 sick leave and 200 vac hours. So I got to get better and back to work.

I hope they don't sell a liver or kidney I could use that money.

It's not most simple hernia operation but I got a good surgeon. Sorry for graphics in description of what I've gone through I wish it on no one.

Seriously I worked with this big guy but a real dumby and we always had to take him down because he would hit girls. He hit a nurse and I threw his ass up against the wall and had a hold like his arms or elbows were behind his back like chicken wings. Then others brought the restraint chair.

This guy is so ****ing dumb I was afraid it was contagious and I told another cool male nurse that. Well weeks went by a d I was in the nurse station bullshiting and then I drooled and I was like oh no I caught the stupid.

To better answer your question about dealing with crazies is hot nurses and chick's that run the floor. I kinda consider myself as the protector because it is female dominate field. This is how you climb out of the depths of hell that I was in for 5 months. First I want to thank you all for your caring support and uplifting thoughts.

Great news everybody~ Last week I met with my new Case Manager from the Center where I go for therapy and he is hooking me up with idk somebody that is going to pay July and August rent base off of my predicament and really no income and he is hooking me up with places to go to pay for my electricity and gas bills. Holy shit that saves me from disconnection. My landlord is cool he knew I was going be late but this is where I bounced back even though I'm on 15lbs weight restriction (did not know this my first week i worked my unit) they told me I couldn't work the floor and I would be "panel bound" on Isaac Ray. ****ing Isaac Ray sucks you enter it like its Fort ****ing Knocks with all the security shit you have to go through metal detector and teleprompt to check your bags and don't forget to take off your belt because it well set off the damn metal detector when you walk through. Then you walk through these four heavy doors that security opens and they SLAM right behind you and I've had PTSD last year going through them not good for me but I sucked it up and conquered my fears because I was on a mission.

I was fortunate that they put me on the female unit panel. It's a lot less stress than the men's unit that if you don't open their door fast enough they will belittle you non stop and hit the window of course they are told to cut it out but they are all assholes and you think in each male Unit that there is a George Brett Statue right in the middle of the Day Hall. Because some fights break out because a guy looked at him wrong. Actually most of the time it can be pretty chill but it gets that way in a hurry. They host a lot of criminally insane. Rumor has it they evaluated Dennis Rader and it's not a tumor.

So I'm in the panel of the women's unit and the girls have their clicks to hang out with and everything was fine then it went everything started to happen in slow motion two girls started fighting a blond and brunet the brunet was pulling the blonds blond hair and the blond was tugging at the brunets close and then some of the clothes got ripped and trouble call was called. Mostly guy staff just sit back and watch because you don't want to be accused of touching something. The two girls kept at it shredding the cloths scratching each other and they fall to the floor but then stop fighting what are they doing oh oh they are kissing and touching each other but here comes the female security pulling them apart and had to reach around from behind and grab ahold of the brunets breastss and got her up and another female security did the same with the blond only it took her longer and you wouldn't tell if she was fondling the breast hard to see from my angle. They got separated then the female security had to do a contraband search on the girls and spread their legs apart and had to check each cheek and between the legs then the girls got escorted back to their rooms and end of the show. (that was for Rain Man)

So then that evening I got pulled to another less exciting unit and it's a unit with just one female. How bad do you have to be to have a Unit all by yourself and on lock down?? So mostly i just opened the slider all day for people come and go security do their pretend security checks and go away about every other hour. She is one/one with a staff sitting outside her door. When she is asleep she is good.

So anyways made a long story what got me bounced back is my first two full weeks in a pay period back on the job I worked 189 hours in two weeks that is 109 hours of overtime cha ching. I'll have my bills paid and an awesome check but i'm going be vehicle shopping and I'm going keep working 90+ hours a week for the rest of the year but may get a couple 3 day weekends. It's not like it was hard but it was long grueling endless hours but it's the turn around I needed.
