It really is. Outside of the obvious characters that stuff the run you have a few unsung heroes as well.

-Sneep is a hammer
-McDuffie blows up everything (That's one tenacious cat)
-Nnadi out of no where figured out how to be a consistent force.

This is how we HOPED the D would look.

-George has grown a ton from this time last year.
-Felix is a really solid rookie
-LB's are the best in the league from top to bottom. Did anyone noticed Bolton was out? That's a hella solid group.
-Justin Reid is always laying the wood. Love that guy.
-Last year's rookie DB's have picked up right where they left off and some.

Man I love this team! I don't believe KC has ever had it better.

Don’t know where to put this. How did Miami score 70 points? Haven’t seen any comment on this.

The one head scratcher of the offseason to me was re-signing Nnadi and not doing more to bolster the DL. But even that is looking like the right move now. Burnt Vag is unstoppable.

My feeling is that the Jets are going to be a lot peskier than we give them credit for. They have a ferocious defense.

The good news is that this team doesn't rely on a stud WR, so Sauce isn't the factor here that he normally would be. Mahomes completes passes to a dozen different people regularly. I'm more concerned with the Jets passrush, which is weird to say about a team with only 6 sacks so far on the season (the Chiefs have 8, and one of those games they were without Chris Jones).

But I don't care. They generate a lot of heat up front, and they don't blitz a ton. Their secondary is really good, and CJ Mosley runs a tight ship at the Mike. Saleh has brought a lot of the nasty to the Jets D.

The problem is that he's a system DC, it seems. And Andy Reid chews up system guys, rather than dudes like Spags who can radically adjust gameplans from week to week.

I can't know how well the Chiefs can keep Mahomes clean, because we simply don't know the tackle situation yet. If you give me healthy Smith/Taylor at the edges, the Chiefs can largely keep Mahomes clean and he can do what he needs to put up 25 points or so.

This will be the best test yet for the Chiefs run defense. Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook can both run a great game. The Chiefs have only faced one fantastic RB so far in Jahmyr Gibbs, who looked awesome against the Jones-less D. Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook are probably the 1st and 3rd best RBs we've seen so far.

The Chiefs defense have no good nose tackles but they're playing so fundamentally sound against the run right now. Spags needs to pack the box, because the run game is really the only thing that can beat the Chiefs this week.

It won't be Zach Wilson, who may somehow be even worse than Justin Fields at reading the field. He's downright blind after the snap. He's got a good offensive line in front of him, but dare I say: it won't matter. Chris Jones has opened everything up for the DL, and they're going to be in Wilson's lap all game. Unless the run game is on, it wouldn't surprise me if the Jets have zero points entering the second half.

Spags has done a really good job against #1 receivers so far this season, so I suspect Garrett Wilson doesn't do much. After that, who's left to punish the Chiefs through the air? Allen Lazard, I guess?

Chiefs should win this like 25-10.

Also a testament to just how pissed off they both are about it to openly criticize the officials like that. It's a complete departure from their usual status quo but a welcome one.
