Credit needs to go to Patrick Mahomes II for setting such a fine example on how to be a man.

Is this guy a raging alcoholic, or just a moron? I hope it's the latter, but in my experience people who still drink like they're in their teens/20s and are in their 50s tend to be the former.

God knows I've done more than my share of drunken dipshittery, but that's all 30+ years in the rearview mirror now. I just don't get people who can't outgrow it.

Generally speaking, people with 3 DUIs aren't just morons.

I heard stories about him being super drunk at a Baylor game and getting kicked out of the stadium when Patrick was still at Texas Tech. Let's be honest though, he never has to work again and he has access to the best lawyers. Getting a few DUIs doesn't matter at this point.

One can only wonder IF Pat and his mom have stopped cleaning up Pat Sr.'s messes which is the only way Sr. might get truly clean because my guess Sr. has already gone through his $$ from MLB or coming close to it with this kind of lifestyle.

At least we all know in advance what reason the KC Star will give as to why they're butthurt that the Chiefs won another Super Bowl.

What a fool. This is 100% without a doubt a distraction for Patrick Mahomes. How could it not be, it’s his dad, who would’ve been in LV cheering his son on…until now perhaps. Maybe it’s not a distraction for the team as a whole, but if it were my dad I’d be thinking about it for sure.

Today it is, yes.

But Patrick played an insane game amidst the Britt Reid nonsense in LV.

Part of what makes him special is he gets into a natural flow state in these games and his focus is unmatched.

As for the rest of the team and folks like us, we will forget about this by Tuesday.

Time will tell. Mahomes is the greatest football player on the planet, but he’s still human. If anyone can look past this it’s him. But if this was Brock Purdy’s dad everyone on CP would be saying it was a distraction. 🤔

Honestly I wouldn’t. But that’s just me. The game isn’t for a week.

But unlike a regular person they have the money for the best lawyer possible which makes jail time unlikely.
